Neither team is great form. Athletic have won just one of their last five matches, and have lost their last two away games. Sevilla's first-leg victory was their only success in the last four outings in all competitions, and they went down 2-1 at Valencia at the weekend.
Ernesto Valverde's visitors have recent history against them. The Basques haven't won away to Sevilla since 2011, and they've lost on three of their last four visits. To make matters worse, defender Aymeric Laporte is likely to miss the game with injury, as will dangerous midfielder Sabin Merino.
Athletic's big chance to progress has surely gone, and having won their last 11 Europa League games, I think an experienced Sevilla side is well-placed to make it a dozen.
