The praise I've just lavished on Villarreal would point towards progress to the final for the Spanish side, and you would look at Liverpool's price of 1.78 to win and wrinkle your nose. However, I was surprised by how ordinary Villarreal were made to look on their own patch last week. Liverpool pressed effectively, and had plenty of chances to break into the box, and had Sturridge played I think they'd have scored.

On that basis you can understand why Over 2.5 Goals is trading at 2.26, but if the visitors score first, that will open the game right up, as Liverpool would then need at least three goals to progress.
