Serie A wraps up the year with an exciting round of midweek action so Chloe Beresford has three tips for the upcoming matches in Italy's top flight...
Salernitana seriously struggling
Udinese v Salernitana

Live on BT Sport 2
Udinese have undeniably struggled this season, their win over Cagliari on Sunday marking just the second time they have managed to secure a victory in their last 15 league games. Yet despite slipping down to 14th in the table, they should be good enough to topple rock bottom Salernitana in the last round of action before Serie A takes its winter break.
Indeed, their opponents have failed to score in seven of their last eight and have lost all of those matches. Salernitana were trailing at both half time and full time in six of their last seven too, while there have been under 2.5 goals scored in five of Udinese's last six outings on home soil.
With that in mind, the tip here is to back Udinese to win and under 2.5 goals, a bet that is currently available at 3.3.
Goal fest at the Bentegodi
Hellas Verona v Fiorentina
Wednesday December 22, 17:30
Live on BT Sport 3
Hellas have lost just one of their last seven games on home soil, while Fiorentina sit sixth in the table and have won seven of their last eight away matches against Verona in all competitions.
If that makes the eventual result difficult to predict, then it is definitely worth looking at the possibility that this could become something of a goal fest. There have been over 2.5 goals scored in each of Fiorentina's last six league games, while nine of Hellas' last 10 home games in Serie A have also seen over that tally.
The tip here is simply to back over 2.5 goals at 1.75.
Inter to finish strong
Inter v Torino
Wednesday December 22, 17:30
Live on BT Sport 2
The reigning Serie A champions are showing no sign of relenting as they have marched back to the top of the table. Inter have won 22 of their last 24 home matches in Serie A, have been winning at both half time and full time in their last six league games, and they have kept a clean sheet in each of their last five.
There have been under 2.5 goals scored in Torino's last seven away games, so this could well be a low scoring affair at San Siro. So with that in mind, the tip here is to take Inter to win and under 2.5 goals at odds of 3.6.
