Millwall V Bradford City
League One play-off semi-final second-leg
Friday 19:45
Promotion Odds
The hosts are trading at 2.08 and are clear favourites now, with Bradford out to 16.00 after the first-leg. And you cannot really back Millwall in the 'To Qualify' market - as they are now at 1.10with the Bantams at 7.40. Opta stats reveal that no team finishing fourth in League One has won the play-offs in the last five seasons - but can Millwall buck that trend?
Over/Under 2.5 Goals
Millwall played Burton earlier in the season - a game covered by Sky TV. I thought the the Brewers were excellent with the ball and dominated the first-half - yet the Lions were 2-0 up at the break with two brilliant counter-attacking goals. The hosts can defend, and 11 clean sheets at home backs that up - and there is no reason for Harris to change from his tried-and-trusted 4-4-2.
13 of the 23 games in south London have ended Under 2.5 Goals this season, whilst Bradford have recorded 14 this term away from Valley Parade - but I worry that they have only netted 20 times away. With Millwall's strong central-defensive pair - they are up against it.
Lions' boss Harris said: "We have the right mentality and spirit to go and win games."
To Score
Harris' side are scoring at The Den - and have netted three in a game on five occasions since December. They have also found the net 13 times in their previous six matches. Their front two of Lee Gregory 2.80 and Steve Morison 2.90 will be looking to add to their impressive tally as a strike-partnership this season. The deadly duo have a combined tally of 45 goals - and both posed Bradford all sorts of problems in the first-leg.
City's top-scorer James Hanson will be popular if he starts, but his calf injury ruled him out of the opener. Midfielder Filipe Morais had a couple of chances at Valley Parade on Sunday but missed an absolute sitter on 53 minutes.
Prior to the first-leg, goals were few and far between in the regular season with 1-0 and 0-0 scores.
