Chelsea v Everton

No signs of Chelsea's fast start stalling

Carlo Ancelotti won the double in his first season at Stamford Bridge and his Italian compatriot Mauricio Sarri is having an immediate impact too.
If second-placed Chelsea avoid defeat, Sarri will set a record for longest unbeaten startin the Premier League by a new manager.
However, that's context not an actual ambition. There'll be no 'avoiding defeat'. Chelsea will want to do what they've done in 14 of Sarri's games in all comps so far and bank victory.
Only Liverpool (1-1) and Manchester United (2-2) have managed to deny them at Stamford Bridge and the current streak is five wins in a row after Thursday's 1-0 victory away to Bate Borisov.

Toffees have settled into a pattern

Everton are on a decent run of their own after banking 12 points from their last 15 in the Premier League to climb to ninth place - probably two places short of what most consider their natural position.
Those wins were against Fulham (h), Leicester (a), Crystal Palace (h) and Brighton (h), the defeat coming via a 2-1 loss at Manchester United.
In what's been a kind early fixture list, their only other clash with a Big Six side resulted in a 2-0 loss at Arsenal so, for now, Everton look a fairly easy team to assess.
Back them against teams below them and take them on in the stiffer tests.
Their task could be made harder by the possible loss of Richarlison, who has an ankle injury.

Chelsea hot favourites

Chelsea are 1.44 to get the win which could see them finish the weekend top of the tableif Manchester City lose their derby clash at home to United (hmmmm, then again).
Everton are 8.60 to take all three points back to Merseyside while the Draw is 5.20.
Look away now if you're an Everton fan/backer:
* Everton haven't won in 28 visits to Stamford Bridge
* Everton have won just one of their last 16 away Premier League games in London
* Everton boss Marco Silva has lost all six PL away games in the capital
While events that happened back in the 90s can be deemed irrelevant, Silva's record is a concern and it's just hard to find any encouragement in a pro-Everton bet in the match market at least.

Toffees can register

While Everton have won less than half their games in all comps this season, one trend well worthy of mention is that they're always good for a goal.
So far, they've netted in 12 of their 13 matches, their only blank coming away at Arsenal.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have conceded in seven of their nine matches at Stamford Bridge, winning them all apart from the draws with Liverpool and Man Utd.
The relevant markets here are BTTS and a Chelsea victory with both sides netting.
It's just 1.80 for the former but Chelsea to win and Both teams to Score at 2.70 is definitely worth a go and a nice boost from the basic win price.

Bank on Barkley?

Ross Barkley scoring against his former team could have looked a mug bet not so long ago but it's now a valid option after the England man's recent run of form.
He's netted three times in his last five games and is 3.20 to add to that tally.
Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata are both a shade of odds-on although such prices are justifiable against a mid-ranking defence like Everton's (10th out of 20 in terms of goals conceded).
For Everton, Richarlison (six Premier League goals) at 3.70 is worth a look if selected but I'll go for Gylfi Sigurdsson at 4.40.
The Icelander came up for me at similar odds when netting at Old Trafford from the spot and he has a great record at the big grounds.
That strike v Man Utd means it's five goals in seven games for the ex-Swansea man since mid-September so he's really had his scoring boots on of late.
On the Sportsbook's Same Game Multi market, Sigurdsson to score but Chelsea to win is 8.95/1.
RECOMMENDED BETS
2pts back Chelsea to win and Both teams to Score at 2.70
1pt back Gylfi Sigurdsson to Score at 4.40
