PSG v RB Leipzig: Superstar side will get job done early
PSG were able to beat Manchester City half-time/full-time and Dan Fitch thinks they can do the same against an RB Leipzig side struggling to find form.
Pochettino finding balance
PSG are top of Group A and will be looking to strengthen their grip on that spot with a win over RB Leipzig.
After only drawing away at Club Brugge in their opening game, PSG bounced back with a 2-0 win over their biggest rivals for supremacy in the group, Manchester City. It was a game in which Lionel Messi scored his first goal for the club and the threat of PSG's front three was clear to see.
Where Mauricio Pochettino has a challenge is creating the right balance in the team, considering that Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are not likely to provide the sort of pressing from the front, that has been a hallmark at the Argentine's previous clubs. Unsurprisingly, Pochettino is tending to field a pretty workmanlike midfield to cover for his attacking superstars.
PSG host a RB Leipzig side that are struggling for form. Losing their opening game away at Manchester City was no surprise, but they were not expected to be defeated at home by Club Brugge. Domestically they are also struggling. A 1-1 draw away at Freiburg at the weekend leaves Leipzig in eighth place in the Bundesliga after eight games (W3 D2 L3).
PSG bet can land again
PSG are the 1.46 favourites to win, with the draw at 5.2 and RB Leipzig at 7.6.
That actually looks like quite a generous starting price for the hosts and one that makes it possible to find some value. RB Leipzig lost 6-3 at Manchester City and have failed to win any of their four Bundesliga games away from home (D2 L2).
You can back PSG to win half-time/full-time at 2.2. It's a bet that landed in PSG's match against Manchester City.
