Against All Odds: NAC Breda to keep the goals flowing

The hosts have been inconsistent this season and that is reflected in their record of four wins, six draws and five defeats from their 15 fixtures to date. Being the reserve team of PSV, obviously going for promotion isn't a possible target, but they will of course be hoping to put a few more wins on the board and show that they are capable of playing for the first team.

Opponents, NAC Breda were relegated from the top flight last term via the play-offs. They will be desperate to go straight back up and, if they win this evening, they will go level on points with VVV in second.

Their success this season has been in front of goal as with 35 scored, only leaders, Sparta Rotterdam, have a better record. That has led to their matches average 3.47 goals each time, with 11 of their 15 having had three or more scored, five of which saw under 3.5 layers paid out.

The hosts have only netted 20 themselves but their defensive record is much poorer as they have shipped 31 goals to date. That's over two per outing and their matches are averaging 3.4 goals per 90 minutes. Half a dozen of the 15 have actually ended with the net bulging at least five times and that includes their last three at home.

I really can't see anything but goals in this one, so with under 3.5 trading at around the 1.74mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
