Perth Scorchers v Sydney Sixers @ WACA – Saturday, 7:15pm AEDT

It will be a repeat of the inaugural Big Bash final when the Perth Scorchers host the Sydney Sixers at the WACA on Saturday night. The Sixers won on that occasion by 7 wickets, with man of the moment Moises Henriques leading the men in magenta to victory with 70*. Henriques was also the hero in the semi-final win over the Brisbane Heat blasting 64 off 34 balls and then backed it up with 18 in the super over. The Scorchers booked their spot in the final on the back of some brilliant fast bowling by Mitchell Johnson. Johnson dismissed the Melbourne Stars top 3 (Quiney, Wright and Pietersen) and in the process recorded the impressive figures of 3/3 off his 4 overs. It was also the most economical completed spell in BBL history and earned Johnson man of the match honours. The Scorchers are big-match performers and will be playing in their 5th final, winning two since the inception of the BBL. The Scorchers hold a 6-3 record over the Sixers, with one super-over win and will be looking to make amends for their loss to the Sixers earlier in the season. The Sixers won the last clash between the sides at the SCG by 6 wickets, which broke a string of 6 losses to the Scorchers. Both sides have been impacted by the upcoming ODI series between Australia and New Zealand, with the resurgent Shaun Marsh unavailable for the final, while Colin Munro has been recalled to the Kiwi side. There are reports that Jason Behrendorff could be included for the final at the expense of Jhye Richardson, which would only add to the Scorchers fast bowling ranks already containing the likes of Mitchell Johnson and Andrew Tye. The Wolf tipped the Scorchers before the competition got underway and has to stick solid. The loss of Marsh is a blow, but The Wolf is confident that the Scorchers have enough depth to cover his absence and make it a 3rd BBL title in 6 seasons.
Bet: Perth Scorchers ($1.75)

It’s been a disappointing BBL 06 from Ian Bell, but The Wolf is backing him to use all of his experience and lift for the big occasion. He made 26* in the semi-final win over the Stars and did make scores of 61 and 45 at the WACA earlier in the season. The absence of Shaun Marsh could present a golden opportunity for Bell.
Bet: Ian Bell ($4)
Top Sixers BatsmanThe Wolf is riding the hot hand here. Henriques made 64 in the semi-final win over the Heat and guided the Sixers to victory in the super-over, blasting 18 off Ben Cutting.
Bet: Moises Henriques ($4.50)
Top Scorchers BowlerMitchell Johnson has been all of the talk of late and you could be forgive for forgetting about Andrew Tye. Not The Wolf! Tye has 10 wickets at an average of 24.90 during BBL 06 and recorded the impressive figures of 3/15 in the loss to the Sixers earlier in the season. If the Sixers focus too much on Johnson, look for Tye to strike!
Bet: Andrew Tye ($3.50)
Top Sixers BowlerSean Abbott has been a revelation during BBL 06, picking up 20 wickets at an impressive average of 14.50. His wicket tally sees him sit five clear on the leaderboard ahead of the Heat’s Mark Stekette, with 15 wickets. Abbott took 4/40 in the semi-final win over the Heat and should enjoy bowling at the WACA.
Bet: Sean Abbott ($3.50)
