Viktoria Plzen 2.40 v CSKA Moscow 3.40; The Draw 3.35 Wednesday 19 September, 20:00 Live on BT Sport Extra
Does battle for third start here?
The two outsiders in Group G meet when Viktoria Plzen take on CSKA Moscow and given the quality of their rivals Real Madrid and Roma, it's not dismissive to say that this game could have a large saying in which club will finish third and qualify for the Europa League.
Viktoria Plzen have made a strong start in the Czech Liga, winning seven of their eight games. A 4-0 defeat by a Slavia Prague side that they are level with on goal difference stands out as a notable result, but it should be taken into account that Viktoria were only 1-0 down before their defender Roman Hubnik conceded a penalty and was sent off, sparking a thrashing.
Like their opponents, CSKA Moscow have only lost once this season (W3 D3 L1). Last season they were unfortunate not to make the knockout stages of the Champions League, after winning three of their six group games.
CSKA should avoid defeat on the road
Two of CSKA's wins last season came away from home against decent opposition in the form of Basel and Benfica, which suggests that there could be value in their large price to claim victory.
CSKA are unbeaten away from home this season, but with four of those five games being level after 90 minutes, it's taking too much of a chance to back a straight win. Instead go for CSKA in the Double Chance market at 1.69.
Back CSKA Moscow double chance against Viktoria Plzen at 1.69
