THE FOXES PAY TRIBUTE TO THEIR BELOVED OWNER
The big news coming out of the EFL Cup is that Leicester City have postponed their match with Southampton. Team owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was killed in a helicopter crash outside the King Power stadium after their 1-1 draw with West Ham on the weekend. Unlike some other clubs, Leicester had a wonderful relationship with their owner who guided them to the English Premier League title in 2015/16.
There are now two matches on Wednesday morning with League One’s Burton taking on Championship side Nottingham Forest and another Championship team Norwich City travelling to Dean Court to take on Premier League side Bournemouth.
The Wolf takes a look at all the action from Wednesday’s EFL Cup matches.

Eddie Howe thinks Bournemouth are ready for their ‘really big moment’
The Cherries are in wonderful defensive form, having kept three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League and attacking with purpose against Fulham (0-3) and in a breakthrough win over Watford (0-4) at Vicarage Road a few weeks ago. The EFL Cup is the best chance for Bournemouth to pick up silverware so expect them to come out fighting in this match. They are having a great season in the Premier League, sitting above Watford, Manchester United and Everton in 6th.
Norwich City have won three consecutive games in the Championship and sit fourth on the table, just two points behind Sheffield United on top. Emiliano Buendia is in sparkling touch after an excellent performance on the weekend against Brentford (1-0). He also pulled the strings in their last EFL Cup match against Wycombe Wanderers with 3 assists. Jordan Rhodes is another player for punters to keep an eye on with a hat trick, two of the goals scored in just two minutes early in the match.
Hard for the Wolf to go past the Cherries in this game. We think Eddie Howe is doing good things with Bournemouth and they will throw everything they have at the Canaries.
