Europa League Betting: Outright favourites United get kind draw with Wolves facing Arsenal conquerors

There were a few high profile casualties in the last 32 of the Europa League including Arsenal, Ajax and Celtic, leaving Manchester United as outright favourites. Max Liu has the latest odds and details of the last 16 draw.

Europa League favourites Manchester United will face Austrian League leaders LASK in the last 16 of the competition.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, who are 5.10 to go all the way after their emphatic 5-0 second leg victory over Club Brugge last night, will play the first leg away from home on 12 March with the second leg at Old Trafford one week later.
Wolves have drawn Olympiakos - the Greek side who knocked out Arsenal last night, winning 2-1 at the Emirates. Nuno's men have shortened in the betting, following their aggregate victory over Espanyol, and now trade at 6.00 to land a piece of illustrious European silverware.
The Old Gold's approach to the competition has been exemplary as they've managed to make progress without letting their domestic form suffer.

Rangers, meanwhile, face a tough tie against Bayer Leverkeusen - the German side, at 11.00, considered one of the stronger teams in the draw.
Whatever happens, though, Steven Gerrard's men have performed better than Celtic who were knocked out by Copenhagen last night.

Big clubs makes competition ultra-competitive

Although United are at the top of outright winner market the odds indicate that this year's Europa League is ultra-competitive, with several big names - Inter Milan 5.70, Sevilla 8.00 and Roma 14.50 - in contention.
Inter look particularly strong, under the management of Antonio Conte, and with Romelu Lukaku leading the line for them. Sevilla have an excellent record in this competition and, as Olympiakos showed, there is always the possibility of an upset.
It is certainly going to be more difficult for United to win it than it was in 2017 when Jose Mourinho lead them to Europa League glory. With the winners getting a place in next season's Champions League, though, there is a strong incentive for each of the last 16.
