La Liga Betting: Rampant Atletico attack can perform again

Atletico Madrid ran riot against Osasuna in midweek and will now be confident as they prepare to host Valladolid.

Diego Simeone's team beat Osasuna 5-0 on Wednesday and moved up to fourth in La Liga. Joao Felix was back from suspension and formed a dangerous partnership with Diego Costa in attack, with the young Portuguese forward scoring twice.

Atletico were able to showcase their strength in depth in attacking areas in the second-half, as a trio of substitutes all found the net. Marcos Llorente, Alvaro Morata and Yannick Carrasco all scored having come off the bench, suggesting that Atletico will be able to cope with the non-stop run of games, with more ease than their rivals for a top four spot. They are now only two points behind third placed Sevilla.

Valladolid drew 0-0 at home to Celta Vigo on Wednesday. They can thank their goalkeeper Jordi Masip for keeping them in the game, after he saved a late penalty from Iago Aspas.

Though it was hardly a result or performance to celebrate, ultimately Valladolid moved closer to safety. Eight points clear of the relegation zone, they can be pleased with having earned four points since the season restarted.

On the evidence of Atletico's last outing, Valladolid shouldn't bank on adding to that total in this match. The goals have been flowing in Atletico's most recent matches and you can back them to win and for there to be over 2.5 goals, at odds of 2.60.

Espanyol recovery will continue

Levante have drawn 1-1 in both of their two matches since the season resumed, but in each game they were fortunate to score a late equaliser.

Espanyol have made a very positive return to action, claiming four points from six games. Yet to concede a goal, they have climbed off the bottom of the table and are now within reach of safety. They can win again here at 2.06.

A more normal match for Bilbao

These mid-table sides were both involved in involved in entertaining 2-2 draws during the week, with Betis sharing the points with Granada on Monday and Athletic doing likewise against Eibar on Wednesday.

It's rare that Bilbao are involved in such a goal-laden affair. Back them to return to normality, with under 2.5 goals available at 1.73.

Getafe big price to shrug off poor form

Getafe have been very disappointing since their return, first losing 2-1 to Granada and then failing to beat Espanyol at home, despite the visitors being reduced to ten men after just 16 minutes.

It now seems a risk to back them, but ultimately if this match between a home side fighting for a Champions League place and an Eibar team battling against relegation, had taken place prior to lockdown, there would be no doubt as to where our money should go. Getafe are big at 1.90 and worth the gamble.
