Sunday Sports Multiple: A Leverkusen win the headline in a 2/1 wager

Bet 1: Back Bayer Leverkusen to beat Schalke at 1/2

David Wagner's Schalke went into the shutdown in sixth place in the Bundesliga, but they were on a bad run of form, and that has continued since the resumption. Four defeats and one draw have been enough to drop them to tenth, five points short of the last Europa League qualifying spot, which now looks beyond them.

Things won't get any easier for them this weekend either as they take on a Bayer Leverkusen side that is pushing hard for a Champions League spot.

Leverkusen have lost twice at home since the top flight returned, but have been more effective on the road, winning all three, and will fancy their chances against a Schalke side that has conceded 11 goals in their last five. Back the visitors for the win.

Bet 2: Back Cronulla Sharks to beat St George Illawara Dragons at 4/9

These are early days in the NRL 2020 season, but both of these sides are already struggling, adding extra tension to this weekend's derby match.

The Dragons are winless after four rounds and will be desperate to avoid setting a franchise record for the worst start to a campaign, but rumours of unrest among the squad aren't a positive sign going into this crucial game.

Their visitors have also struggled so far this season, but they picked up a morale-boosting win against the Cowboys last weekend, and will be strengthened by the return of Chad Townsend and Andrew Fifita. They beat the Dragons twice last season and look a good bet to extend that run of local dominance to three on Sunday.

Bet 3: Back Blues to beat Hurricanes at 8/15

The return of Super Rugby Aotearoa should produce a full house at Eden Park on Sunday as Blues take on Hurricanes, with All Black star Beauden Barrett's Blues debut another attraction for the rugby-starved locals.

With Dan Carter not likely to feature until Round Four, this is an ideal opportunity for Barrett and he has plenty of firepower to utilise in the Blues backs division.

The Hurricanes boast plenty of attacking threats of their own and the return of back row Ardie Savea is a huge boost. But while they have some promising options at fly-half, none are in the same class as Barrett, and that factor, combined with home advantage, make the home side the best bet here.
