Saturday Sports Multiple: A Spain win the headline in a 9/4 weekend wager

Pandora Hughes has lined up another weekend multiple and she's banking on Spain continuing their strong start to the Nations League on Saturday.

Bet 1: Back Spain to beat Switzerland at 4/11

Spain will be aiming to continue their perfect record in the Nations League on Saturday and they are a short price to see off bottom of the table Switzerland.

One of the powerhouses of European football, Spain have been quietly rebuilding in recent months, but having won nine out of ten of their Euro 2020 qualifiers, they've now built up a 14-game unbeaten run, stretching back to the autumn of 2018.

The Swiss have a solid pedigree in recent years, and have already earned a 1-1 draw against Germany, but they are less convincing on the road and their warm-up for this game was an unconvincing 2-1 defeat to Croatia. Spain, by contrast, played well in a friendly draw against Portugal and they look a solid bet this weekend.

Bet 2: Back Kolkata Knight Riders to beat Kings XI Punjab at 4/6

Kings XI Punjab made a good start to their IPL challenge, taking Delhi to a Super Over in their opener and thrashing Bangalore in their second game, but they've slumped since then with four consecutive defeats and seem to be up against it taking on a powerful Kolkata side that keeps finding a way to win.

The Knight Riders have been hit and miss so far, but they edged out Chennai on Wednesday and they have a line-up packed with Twenty20 match winners in Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Pat Cummins and England's own Eoin Morgan. They've also shown a willingness to be inventive and to improvise, qualities that are essential in this format, and I fancy them to earn back to back wins.

Bet 3: Back South Sydney Rabbitohs to beat Parramatta Eels at 4/9

The Parramatta Eels had a strong start to the NRL season, but they've been out of form for a while now and they look vulnerable in Saturday's second semi-final.

By contrast, the Rabbitohs have timed things perfectly, hitting top gear in recent weeks after a mid-season lull. They handed the Roosters a 52-point thrashing in their final regular season outing and easily disposed of the Knights in their first Finals game, and they will be full of confidence going into this clash.

South Sydney prevailed by 38 points when they last met the Eels in Week 16, and nothing we've seen since then suggests that Parramatta can close the gap. Back the Roosters to repeat last year's success and reach the Preliminary Finals.
