Wednesday World Cup Qualifiers Tips: Belgium can repeat Belarus thrashing

Belgium beat Belarus 8-0 when they last met and Dan Fitch thinks they are value to win big again, as he previews the pick of Wednesday's World Cup qualifiers.

Easy game after heavy loss

Armenia 1.16 v Liechtenstein 22.0; The Draw 9.2
Kick off, 17:00

Armenia lost their first match of the qualifying process at the weekend. Though their 6-0 defeat to Germany was a heavy one, they remain in a healthy position in Group J and will surely stay in second place with a win over Liechtenstein. Armenia are 1.73 to win to nil.

Belgium will thrash Belarus again

Belarus 29.0 v Belgium 1.16; The Draw 9.2
Kick off, 19:45

Belgium have just beaten second placed Czech Republic 3-0 and are now six points clear at the top of Group E. Belarus surrendered a 2-1 lead in their 3-2 defeat by Wales and with Belgium having beaten them 8-0 in March, look destined to lose again. A Belgium win and over 3.5 goals is 2.6.

Greece can push Sweden

Greece 3.6 v Sweden 2.28; The Draw 3.3
Kick off, 19:45

Sweden have won all three of their games in Group B and having beaten Spain last week, will be eager not to undo their hard work by dropping points against Greece. The Greeks have drawn all three of their qualifiers, which includes claiming a point away in Spain. Greece should make it competitive and both teams to score is 2.2.

Germany can keep clean sheet against struggling Iceland

Iceland 16.0 v Germany 1.25; The Draw 6.8
Kick off, 19:45

Germany thrashed Armenia 6-0 on Sunday and are now top of Group J. Iceland had to come from two goals down to draw 2-2 with North Macedonia and are well off the pace, already six points away from even a play-off spot. Germany are 1.95 to win to nil.

Italy will get back to winning ways

Italy 1.06 v Lithuania 65.0; The Draw 15.0
Kick off, 19:45

Italy have drawn both of their qualifiers this week. Bulgaria held them to a 1-1 draw at home and then at the weekend, the Euro 2020 winners could only draw 0-0 in Switzerland. While Italy remain top of Group C, second placed Switzerland have two games in hand and can move above them, so this is a game that the hosts must win. An Italy victory and under 3.5 goals is 2.0.

Spain need win

Kosovo 18.0 v Spain 1.22; The Draw 6.2
Kick off, 19:45

After losing 2-1 to Sweden last week, Spain bounced back with a 4-0 victory at home to Georgia. That victory sent Spain back to the top of Group B, though Sweden are only a point behind them and have two games in hand. This is a game that Spain dare not lose and you can back an away win and over 2.5 goals at 1.88.

Romania climbing the table

North Macedonia 2.58 v Romania 3.1; The Draw 3.3
Kick off, 19:45

It's been a decent week for Romania. Consecutive 2-0 wins, against first Iceland and then Liechtenstein, has seen them move up to third in Group J, only three points behind the leaders Germany. North Macedonia's sole defeat in this campaign came in the reverse fixture and you can back Romania in the Draw No Bet market at 2.04.
