AC Milan v Liverpool: Reds value to at least avoid defeat

Liverpool have a perfect record in Group B and Dan Fitch thinks that they're a huge price when they travel to Milan.

Klopp will take this seriously

Liverpool have the chance to preserve a so far perfect record in Group B, when they travel to Italy to meet a motivated Milan.

Jurgen Klopp's team have claimed victory in all five of their games, which has meant that they've won Group B with some ease. Despite the fact that Liverpool don't need the points, we can expect Klopp to take this reasonably seriously. The same was true in the last round of games against Porto and while Klopp rotated a little, ultimately he put a strong side out.

That could be bad news for Milan, who are fighting for a second placed finish, that would see them move through to the last-16. Currently third in Group B and occupying the Europa League qualification spot, both they and bottom placed Atletico Madrid are only a point behind second placed Porto.

Milan finally won a game in the group at their fifth attempt, when they won 1-0 away at Atletico Madrid, in their most recent Champions League outing. Their 2-0 home win over Salernitana at the weekend, leaves Milan top of Serie A, a point ahead of their rivals Inter.

Liverpool are a big price

AC Milan are the 2.16 favourites, with Liverpool at 3.4 and the draw at 4.0.

In the opening game of the group, Milan came close to pulling off a shock against Liverpool, taking a 2-1 lead at Anfield before losing 3-2. Their motivation sees them installed as fairly heavy favourites here, but that could present an opportunity where Liverpool are concerned.

The game against Porto showed that Liverpool will field a strong team. A team that on paper at least, will probably look at least as strong, as Milan's first choice XI. Liverpool are such a big price that you can back them to merely avoid defeat in the Double Chance market and still get odds of 1.84.
