Serie A Tips: Back Inter to win and a goal fest in Rome

Serie A continues with an exciting round of action, and Chloe is back with another three selections for the upcoming matches in Italy's top flight...

Inter just too strong

Inter v Venezia

Inter are flying right now, going into this weekend sitting two points clear at the top of the table despite playing one game fewer than the teams behind them. They are undefeated in their last 27 home matches in Serie A, and have scored at least two goals in 11 of their last 13 games at San Siro.

What's more, the Nerazzurri have kept a clean sheet in seven of their last eight matches, with the team conceding just once in that spell and looking extremely confident.

That looks like a tall order for a Venezia side who have failed to win their last eight Serie A matches and, with that in mind, the tip here is to back Inter to win to nil, a market that is currently available at odds of 1.73.

Goals galore in Rome

Lazio v Atalanta

Live on BT Sport 3

The result of this game is tough to call as Atalanta are undefeated in their last 17 away matches in Serie A, but are set to take on a Lazio side who have lost just one of their last 23 home games in the league.

It looks like we can expect a goal fest at the Stadio Olimpico however, with Lazio seeing over 2.5 goals in each of their last nine games, with Maurizio Sarri's men scoring three or more in each of their last three home games.

At the same time, Atalanta have found the back of the net in each of their last 11 meetings with Lazio, their longest scoring streak in the top flight. So, with that in mind, the tip here is to back both teams to score: yes which is available at 1.5.

Massive match in Milan

AC Milan v Juventus
Sunday January 23, 19:45
Live on BT Sport 3

After the 1-1 draw last September, Milan and Juventus could draw both meetings in a single Serie A campaign for the first time since 1991/92 if this match ends in a stalemate, but they haven't drawn any of their last nine meetings at San Siro.

Following their loss to Spezia last week, Stefano Pioli will be aware he has not lost consecutive home games since taking over as boss of the Rossoneri, but also must know that he has never beaten Max Allegri in a head-to-head encounter in their 15 meetings to date.

There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 10 of Juventus's last 11 games in Serie A, and the Bianconeri are undefeated in their last eight league matches.

So armed with that knowledge, the tip here is to back Double chance: Milan or Juventus , a market available at 1.3.
