Europa Conference League Quarter-Final Tips: Leicester and PSV will serve up goals

With PSV generally involved in exciting games, Dan Fitch is expecting goals against Leicester, as he previews Thursday's Europa Conference League quarter-finals...

Slavia will entertain in defeat

Feyenoord 1.68 v Slavia Prague 4.9; The Draw 4.2

These teams have already met in the group stages of the competition. Feyenoord won the home match 2-1 and claimed a 2-2 away draw, despite being reduced to ten men for most of the match.

Given those results, Feyenoord look decent value at 1.68 to take advantage in this first-leg of the quarter-finals. Slavia Prague have been involved in some entertaining matches in the knockout stages, beating Fenerbahce 6-4 on aggregate in the play-off round and then defeating LASK 7-5 in the last-16. A Feyenoord win and both teams to score can be backed at 3.4.

Glimt massively underrated despite past results

Bodo/Glimt 3.7 v Roma 1.98; The Draw 3.65

This is another match between two teams that met in the group stage and the odds don't remotely reflect how the previous encounters unfolded. Glimt thrashed Roma in the home match 6-1 and then drew 2-2 away, with the Serie A side twice going behind against the Norwegians.

In the knockout stages, Glimt were outsiders against both Celtic and AZ. It would seem that they remain massively underrated, especially in this home leg. If you combine Glimt double chance, both teams to score and over 2.5 goals as a Bet Builder on the Sportsbook, you can get odds of 3.43.

Goals will flow against Foxes

Leicester 2.16 v PSV 3.4; The Draw 3.6
Thursday 7 April, 20:00
Live on BT Sport 3

This is perhaps the pick of the quarter-final games, as the FA Cup holders Leicester host a PSV side that are unbeaten in 13 games (W10 D3). In the last round PSV were involved in a thrilling 4-4 home draw with FC Copenhagen, before beating them 4-0 in the second-leg.

Over the weekend PSV fought back from being 3-0 down to draw 3-3 away at Twente. Second in the Eliteserien table, PSV have seen three goals or more in 13 of their last 16 games. Against a Leicester team that have often struggled for clean sheets this season, over 2.5 goals should land at 1.84.

Marseille will continue winning run

Marseille 1.43 v PAOK 9.0; The Draw 4.6
Thursday 7 April, 20:00
Live on BT Sport Digital

Marseille's 4-2 away win at Saint Etienne over the weekend means that they have now won five straight games. Since dropping down from the Europa League to this competition, they have also won both legs of their ties against Qarabag and Basel.

PAOK have not managed to find such consistency in the Conference League, despite the fact that they have had relatively kind draws in both the play offs, group stages and knockout rounds (P14 W8 D3 L4). They've done well to reach the quarter-finals, but this seems likely to be as far as they will get. Each of Marseille's last five wins has also seen at least three goals scored and you can back a home victory and over 2.5 goals at 2.4.
