Sunday Football Tips: Ronaldo ready to rumble in Lisbon

Sunday's column is backing Cristiano Ronaldo and Haris Seferovic to hit the target as Portugal host Switzerland in Lisbon.

The games come thick and fast in the Nations League as Portugal host Switzerland in their second round of matches.

Neither side won their first outing, with Portugal grabbing their now customary draw with Spain while the Swiss lost in the Czech Republic.

There's only six places between them in the world rankings but Portugal are huge favourites in Lisbon - at the Estadio Jose Alvalade where they've kept clean sheets in their last four.

Switzerland have scored in seven of their last eight away games though, including games against Belgium, Germany and England, even though they've won just two (W2 D3 L3).

After a substitute appearance against Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo should start here at the home of his former side Sporting, and he's a short price to find the net once again.

He's about the same price to have two shots on target though, and that's the option we'll take as he averaged over two shots on target per game during World Cup qualifying.

For Switzerland, Haris Seferovic looks like getting the start, and he'll have more motivation than most as the Benfica striker plays at the home of his club side's fierce rivals.

If you're looking for goalscorers then he'd be your best bet for the visitors, but given Portugal's defensive record on this ground, a shot on target may be the most he can manage.
