ATP Tour Finals: Day 3

Nadal withdrew from the tournament following the result with Carreno-Busta coming in as his replacement. It means Goffin and Dimitrov are in pole position to qualify out of the Sampras group. Tonight Cilic and Sock meet in a must win encounter for both players while the winner of the Federer/Zverev clash will qualify for the knockout stages.</span></div> <h5 style="box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.4; margin: 0.2rem 0px 0.5rem; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Nitto ATP Tour Finals Feature Previews</span></h5> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Marin Cilic v Jack Sock</b>At first glance the initial thought would be that Cilic would be around about $1.50 to win this one. The reason why he isn’t is because Sock has won both of their prior encounters and is coming off his first Masters Series title. The Wolf isn’t buying into either fact. Sock is not accustomed to playing at such a high level over an extended period of time and after putting it all on the line against Federer he is expecting a regression in his performance. He won 71% of second serve points against Federer which is well above his season average of 53%. Cilic has a superior baseline game and serve to prevent Sock from creating any chances. Cilic to egt the better of him<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Best Bet: Cilic WIN ($1.73)</span></strong></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Roger Federer v Alexander Zverev</b><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />With Nadal out The Wolf is predicting this to be a prelude of the final. They have won 12 titles between them this season and Zverev is one of only 4 men to have beaten Federer in 2017. That win came in the final of Montreal where Federer was evidently below his best. Federer is 50-4 on the season and has win his last 11 matches. Zverev on the other hand has had some difficulties on the faster indoor courts with back to back losses against Tsnga and Hasse before beating Cilic here. He is also having to deal with the rigors of a very long season – something his 20 year old body is not yet equipped to deal with. Federer’s serve has been flawless in recent tournaments and there is a common theme between the recent men who have beat Zverev – they have big serves and have prevented him from finding a rhythm. Federer will do the same.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;">Best Bet: Federer -3.5 ($1.80)</strong></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfqDJ6tb8IJTAItTfbGDo9y0xWGajBi1tNNsaG-ocELuVetZamQX5dLzJUemedu1QqLKJFhQ0Gt__jPfbUUtOydHCbVjBpA5xYYsIuVUhoaIyfXI2WsPDEqdKUQjSUZQS85DQ3NL5JVI4/s1600/Roger-Federer.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="379" data-original-width="583" height="416" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfqDJ6tb8IJTAItTfbGDo9y0xWGajBi1tNNsaG-ocELuVetZamQX5dLzJUemedu1QqLKJFhQ0Gt__jPfbUUtOydHCbVjBpA5xYYsIuVUhoaIyfXI2WsPDEqdKUQjSUZQS85DQ3NL5JVI4/s640/Roger-Federer.png" width="640" /></a><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;"><br /></strong></span></div>

Honduras offered next to nothing in attack and will need to make a sharp improvement if they are to deny the Socceroos. The visitors will be up against it in more ways than one. Australia will have the advantage of additional rest thanks to a chartered flight, a huge home crowd and substantially more depth. Based on the first leg there is no reason why Australia cannot settle this tie in the first half.</span></strong><br /> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14.4px; font-weight: normal;"><br /></span></strong> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14.4px; font-weight: normal;">If the Socceroos can take their chances this one could be over at half time. They were guilty of very several genuine chances in Honduras and cannot afford the same complacency in front of goal. The match will take on a very different complexion to that at the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano. The surface in Honduras was abysmal with players taking out chunks of grass. In contrast the surface at Homebush is all but perfect. With no rain at all leading into the game The Socceroos will have the ideal pitch for their passing game.</span></strong><br /> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14.4px; font-weight: normal;"><br /></span></strong> <div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14.4px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> Australia will take complete control of the centre of the park and on that basis alone they should be able to prevent Honduras from posing any threat. The Wolf was shocked at how easily the Socceroos were able to win the ball back in midfield in the 1st leg and cannot see how Honduras can reverse that pattern. The Socceroos can make life hard for themselves if they are wasteful in front of goal but The Wolf says the initial focus will be on taking control and preventing any counter-attacks. The Wolf doesn’t expect things to open up at any point. The Socceroos should take the lead prior to the hour mark and the nerves will be put to bet with a second goal late on. It’s been a long, hard road but the Socceroos will get it done.</div> <h4 style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Bebas, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 1.4; margin: 0.2rem 0px 0.5rem; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> Recommended Bets</h4> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit;"></strong><br /> <div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Best: Australia WIN ($1.60)</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Other: Under 2.5 goals ($1.61)</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Correct Score: Australia 2-0 ($6.50)</span></strong></div> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgWMfaoml3wffzhIgyXXY1sWFxvSECGQ61fUDxpf6t5fyAyCPtiwFYxpKIzEqzZ4TE3PZv3AVshpVTca8rwwtL4eMIPiNYUkIyquoe2G6Y07T1WhVig89zczbkV2YDdemzGrQZsQK4i9s/s1600/74.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="467" data-original-width="700" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgWMfaoml3wffzhIgyXXY1sWFxvSECGQ61fUDxpf6t5fyAyCPtiwFYxpKIzEqzZ4TE3PZv3AVshpVTca8rwwtL4eMIPiNYUkIyquoe2G6Y07T1WhVig89zczbkV2YDdemzGrQZsQK4i9s/s400/74.jpg" width="400" /></a></div> <div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #222222; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14.4px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <br /></div>

England v Brazil: Tite's tyros should see off pick-and-mix hosts

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">England v Brazil</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Tuesday, 20:00</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Live on ITV and Betfair Live Video</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Test for Southgate's pick-and-mix side</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">A 0-0 draw in a friendly is hardly a result to set the pulse racing, but there were some green shoots for England against Germany. Forced to switch things up with half of his squad absent with chronic cynicism, Gareth Southgate handed game time to Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Joe Gomez, and must have been fairly pleased with what he saw.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Against Brazil on Tuesday, the Three Lions could be even more patched up. Phil Jones has left the squad - an actual injury, that one - and there will be a temptation to test some of those who did not start on Friday night. There are those who will argue that such experimentation is misguided with the World Cup fast approaching, but the truth is that Southgate has not been left with much choice.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Seleção at full strength</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Having booked their place at the World Cup back in March, Brazil are putting great stock in a series of friendlies that they hope will prepare them for campaign next summer. After a shaky start, the Seleção were rarely tested in a poor South American qualifying group, meaning that games against England, Russia and Germany will be useful yardsticks - and that there will be some disappointment that their hosts on Tuesday are not at full strength.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Brazil warmed up for this game with a straightforward win over Japan in Lille, easing off after scoring three times in the first half. Coach Tite tested a couple of variations in that one - Danilo impressed at right-back; Fernandinho and Giuliano had run-outs in midfield - but should name his strongest side at Wembley, with Daniel Alves, Miranda, Paulinho and Renato Augusto returning. Philippe Coutinho has been passed fit to play but may not displace Willian.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Brazil strong favourites</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The state of the England squad has pushed the odds on the home win out to 4.60, with the draw at 3.80. That seems fair: the Three Lions are without most of their best attacking players and are facing a side who have come on leaps and bounds since Tite took the reins in mid-2016. The Seleção have won 13 of their 16 matches since, the only loss coming when only domestic-based players were used in a game against Argentina.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Brazil will be taking this seriously and while a price of 1.88 is perhaps not the most tempting, the away victory looks the most likely outcome.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Goals not guaranteed</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Brazil have been among the goals since Tite's arrival, scoring at a rate of almost 2.5 per game under Tite. But their defensive frugality (five conceded in 16) is a factor against backing the overs at 1.70, as are the absences of Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and the rest. England's best bet will probably be keeping Neymar and co quiet for as long as possible, so if anything the unders might be the way to go.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Paulinho a reliable goal threat</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Neymar's record of 53 goals in 82 Brazil games suggests that there could be value in backing him at around 2.30 to net anytime. But the man to side with at a price of 7/2 on the Sportsbook is Paulinho. He will be raring to go after being rested against Japan, has a point to prove in England and has netted six times since Tite's arrival, benefitting from the freedom to make late runs into the box.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Recommended Bets</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Back Brazil to win at 1.88</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Back Paulinho to score at 7/2</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAcysY1pkeLkQucrNXSr5qQ107QbnNWS0zNuh0zJDCj44dGngI2I_gyqnSmwcLCLmqBJX19mLEvJZz8M9Qg51FGkeJPhOuFH13lX1vIHzCBcHkd-SdcbaKWEJBU9-F4vM2JoZnlfe0yCA/s1600/skysports-coutinho-neymar-gabriel-jesus-brazil_3832632.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="432" data-original-width="768" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAcysY1pkeLkQucrNXSr5qQ107QbnNWS0zNuh0zJDCj44dGngI2I_gyqnSmwcLCLmqBJX19mLEvJZz8M9Qg51FGkeJPhOuFH13lX1vIHzCBcHkd-SdcbaKWEJBU9-F4vM2JoZnlfe0yCA/s640/skysports-coutinho-neymar-gabriel-jesus-brazil_3832632.jpg" width="640" /></a><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span><br /> <br />

Italy v Sweden: Nervy night in store for Azzurri

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Jack Lang is expecting another attritional encounter in Milan on Monday night as Italy attempt to turn around a 1-0 deficit against Sweden...</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Italy v Sweden</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Monday, 19:45</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Live on Sky Sports Football</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Do or die for Ventura</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The game may have taken place at the Friends Arena, but Giampiero Ventura found himself plunged into a world of enemies after Italy's loss to Sweden on Friday night. The former Torino boss - far universally popular even before that wretched performance - has been the chief scapegoat for a defeat that leaves the Azzurri in danger of failing to qualify for a World Cup for the first time in 70 years.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Ventura may point to bad luck: Sweden's goal was fortuitously deflected into the net, after all. But Italy were so lifeless, so short on inspiration that there will be an inquest into his stewardship even if his charges do turn the tie around in Monday's return leg. And if they fail to get the required result in Milan? Well, he should probably start looking at houses abroad.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Italy must do without Marco Verratti (suspended) and Daniele De Rossi (struggling for fitness), so the midfield will be weakened here. Roma favourite Alessandro Florenzi and Napoli's Jorginho are expected to stand in, while there could be further changes in attack. Most Italians are keen for Lorenzo Insigne to play from the start, but the contrarian Ventura is reportedly considering opting for Manolo Gabbiadini instead.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">More of the same for visitors</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Sweden have been able to observe their opponents' crisis from a position of relative strength, Jakob Johansson's strike and a vital clean sheet having put them in the driving seat in this tie. It was a victory for collective spirit: Janne Andersson's side is low on household names but has plenty of grit, which they showed in the first leg.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Andersson is unlikely to make widespread changes to his side, although the return of Celtic defender Mikael Lustig - suspended for the game in Solna - could prompt a minor reshuffle at the back. There is also a chance that one of the strikers will be sacrificed to provide some more manpower in midfield, with Johansson the obvious candidate for a berth after his heroics last week.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Italy too short to consider</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Italy are 1.55 favourites to win in 90 minutes, which seems a touch generous given how lacklustre they were on Friday night. On the one hand, it would be a surprise if they were that disjointed again; on the other, Ventura's muddle tactics have been in evidence for some time and the pressure of the occasion is hardly likely to help matters.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Sweden's away form has been inconsistent and we won't be backing them at 8.20, but there could be some value in backing the draw at 4.10.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Goals at a premium again?</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The first leg panned out largely as predicted, with defences on top, and it's hard to see this game exploding into life - at least in the early stages. Under 2.5 goals is a solid option at 1.66, but a more attractive bet is the 0-0 half-time score at 6/4. Italy will be nervous and Sweden will be cautious in the extreme, so there's a reasonable chance that the sides will head into the break level.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Recommended Bet</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Back 0-0 half-time score at 6/4</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj14z0P0GOf6zV4sQ61XFKUvfcE0_HHqtgQ5Hz9VtQZYXHt0OO99BqFcl53W7jcAO3dSfQWDF2P42_-kszCOlYBKlijzAcHj7ta8D_k4g5ebFlPNPPZ3jyC13BFnuChFkBX-IrNA1SJXno/s1600/promo334619375.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj14z0P0GOf6zV4sQ61XFKUvfcE0_HHqtgQ5Hz9VtQZYXHt0OO99BqFcl53W7jcAO3dSfQWDF2P42_-kszCOlYBKlijzAcHj7ta8D_k4g5ebFlPNPPZ3jyC13BFnuChFkBX-IrNA1SJXno/s640/promo334619375.jpg" width="640" /></a><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

The challenge for punters is that Pep Guardiola rotates accordingly. Not one of City's Golden Boot contenders has started every match. It doesn't appear to have stopped them from scoring yet of course, but it can make backing a City player a frustrating affair. If you take the plunge you will just have to ride out the weeks when your man doesn't start and you will be relying on a player who will get significantly less minutes than his rivals.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Before I wrote this piece I assumed Aguero was Guardiola's slight preference upfront, but in terms of minutes played the Argentine has featured for just four more than his Brazilian team-mate.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Although he usually misses a few games through injury Aguero is a perennial contender in the market and looks a fair price as a bet-to-nothing - you'll break even on an each-way bet if he finishes in the top three.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">But while he has scored one goal fewer, Jesus arguably offers better value. At 13/2 on the Sportsbook you can still make a profit on each-way punts should he finish in the top three.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">But what of City's 'midfielders'? Sterling and Sane have both put up amazing numbers through the early fixtures of the season but the market does not fancy their chances of maintaining it over the course of the entire campaign. That is probably a correct assumption but City appear to be rewriting the rules this season and the place payouts on Sterling (who can be backed at 25/1) or Sane (50/1) almost justify themselves.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Morata is the man</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">At the current prices, market leader Kane is a 'win only' bet. As the undisputed first choice striker at the club, the danger to the Spurs forward is playing too much and he usually misses a few weeks with a knock, but it hasn't stopped him wining the Golden Boot in the last two seasons.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Lukaku started the season in fine form, averaging a goal per game through the first seven fixtures and hitting a low of 3.15 in the Exchange betting. But he has now gone four games without scoring, a run that has come as manager Jose Mourinho hits an odd place in his United career and the Belgian looks one to avoid at this moment in time.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Chelsea manager Antonio Conte doesn't appear to be in a particularly happy place right now either and his team have suffered a few poor results in the last month, but that hasn't stopped Morata figuring prominently throughout. The Spaniard's seven goals is the equal of Lukaku but have come across significantly less game time. He is clearly the lead striker at the club and appears set for a big debut season at Stamford Bridge, especially with a fit Eden Hazard supplying the ammunition.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">One goal behind Morata is Arsenal's big summer signing, Alexandre Lacazette. The Frenchman has only once played a full 90 minutes in the Premier League despite not featuring at all in the Europa League. The kid-glove approach from Arsene Wenger is slightly off-putting and it seems Lacazette is a step behind the competition here.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">And what of those we haven't mentioned yet? Salah has been the bright spark of Liverpool's opening few months, scoring consistently throughout the league campaign. I had hoped for something similar from 33/1 antepost selection Sadio Mane but suspension and injury means he has missed five games since the 5-0 defeat at Manchester City. However, Salah's play perhaps proves that Liverpool's attackers do have the ability to score heavily. The Egyptian scored 15 times in Serie A for Roma last year and the suspicion is that he will come up short of the competition in his first Premier League season</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Vardy could be a lively long-shot. Unlike last season he doesn't appear to be struggling with any sort of injury and appears to have retained top dog status in the club's forward ranks. New manager Claude Puel's defensive reputation is off-putting, however, and a watching brief is advised.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Recommended Bet</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Back Alvaro Morata each-way @ 8/1</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7t7_LEXBtKCt4beRxg9UKY4sCN2v3Uqbb4Tvi0Atl9ivmERarM5fGDt_Ol91QQctBw1JwAfbcjx0cJpoq97-TLG0vgVVDCBTSgH1wAcJzg6DDpcw1lZ99ZZ57dgIGJwCUxTeDD3Whkrc/s1600/alvaro-morata-chelsea-09092017_6cjcl65jbx23156r94fgm0vcu.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="1280" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7t7_LEXBtKCt4beRxg9UKY4sCN2v3Uqbb4Tvi0Atl9ivmERarM5fGDt_Ol91QQctBw1JwAfbcjx0cJpoq97-TLG0vgVVDCBTSgH1wAcJzg6DDpcw1lZ99ZZ57dgIGJwCUxTeDD3Whkrc/s640/alvaro-morata-chelsea-09092017_6cjcl65jbx23156r94fgm0vcu.jpg" width="640" /></a><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

We have been fading Thiem throughout the indoor swing and with losses in 6 of his last 8 we’d be crazy not to continue. In that stretch Thiem has lost to the likes of Pella, Johnson and Verdasco. Dimitrov on the other hand has made the semi’s in Beijing, quarters in Shanghai and the final in Stockholm. His results could have been even better with two losses to Nadal – both in a deciding 3rd set. He is in great touch and his aggressive style will expose Thiem. Look for him to hit inside out forehands into the Thiem backhand and coming right in behind them for the easy volley. Thiem has struggled on the fast indoor surfaces and this will be no exception.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Best Bet: Dimitrov WIN ($1.50)</span></strong></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Rafael Nadal v David Goffin</strong><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />Nadal pulled out of Paris with a knee injury and did so with the hope of being fully fit for the Tour Finals. The Wolf says that even if he was fully fit and at the peak of his powers he would not be backing him to win this week. The Spaniard has never won the Tour Finals and has a modest 16-12 record. What makes that record even more surprising is the fact that he has dominant records against most other top ranked players. The fast indoor surface has never suited his game and with his physical condition in question The Wolf is happy to take Goffin with the start. Rafa had to dig deep to get past Chung and Cuevas in Paris before withdrawing and will be in the same position against Goffin.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;">Best Bet: Goffin +4.5 ($1.91)</strong></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMUstPvV45ocTaCEGC3l4x-PwXxUaZo1TchUQsmWu9WbmRRjdN2oh5ksZGfKGzXCxMox1JDZm0nHn-e9Cm12q5P-LvIvM8DDlk_X_1Sf6g1ERCoDS38yVBPpKTSM7uppRNPC8p8_F5OKE/s1600/878487_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="350" data-original-width="590" height="378" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMUstPvV45ocTaCEGC3l4x-PwXxUaZo1TchUQsmWu9WbmRRjdN2oh5ksZGfKGzXCxMox1JDZm0nHn-e9Cm12q5P-LvIvM8DDlk_X_1Sf6g1ERCoDS38yVBPpKTSM7uppRNPC8p8_F5OKE/s640/878487_1.jpg" width="640" /></a><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;"><br /></strong></span></div>
