Blues given mammoth asking price for top target.
Chelsea could have to pay more than €99m (£73m) to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba if they revive their interest in January or next summer.
The French international was strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge at various points this summer, with a £73m deal looking like being on the cards in the final days of the transfer window.
Pogba certainly looks like a future Ballon d’Or winner and makes sense as an extremely expensive asset to his current club, and this could make it harder for Chelsea to win the race for his signature, according to Sky Sports.
"As we want to win, we have decided to keep hold of a player as important as Pogba, although we have had offers from some very important clubs," Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta said.
"In the future he could be worth more than 100m euros."
