Man Utd clash with Liverpool at Anfield

Manchester United make a Sunday trip to Anfield for a Premier League encounter with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, with the visiting Red Devils looking to extend their impressive record after winning their last three meetings.
Louis van Gaal’s men are still battling to return to a Champions League position, having dropped narrowly below London clubs Tottenham and West Ham United, while the Reds sit further down in ninth place.
Although, a victory for the hosts would bring them level with their bitter rivals in the the tightly contested standings, and they are 5/4 with Coral to end their fixture misery, while Man Utd enter at 23/10 for further Merseyside success.

Goals galore potentially on Merseyside?

Anfield was once a feared destination for the Red Devils, but in recent campaigns it has become less of a fortress, having lost just one of their previous four visits there, winning on two occasions.
Though Man Utd enter the latest instalment of this intense rivalry on the back of one of the great Premier League games, in which they were incredibly held to a 3-3 draw by Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Having also scored three times in their most recent Liverpool liaison at Old Trafford last September, Van Gaal’s travelling side are 17/2 to dispatch another treble of goals on the red half of Merseyside.

More Martial or Mata magic?

Man Utd made young Frenchman Anthony Martial the most expensive teenager in history last summer and his impact was instantly brilliant, bagging a sublime solo effort over Liverpool. The Old Trafford attacker is 6/1 to score last again here, while Juan Mata is 16/5 to net anytime, following his heroics at Anfield last season, inspiring a 2-1 triumph.
Klopp’s Reds may hold plenty of injuries, but they have enough firepower capable of inflicting home ruling over their fierce rivals, with Samba starlet Roberto Firmino 23/10 to dispatch anytime and Belgium marksman Christian Benteke 6/1 to open proceedings.
Wayne Rooney has seemingly rediscovered his goal scoring form in recent outings, albeit two of his four goals in the last three games have been from penalties, but he is 19/10 to bag another anytime.
Having prevailed in just one of the last five match-ups with United, Liverpool will seek to overturn such a dire run of fixture form in front of their home support, with both sides looking to keep their European position hopes alive in super Sunday clash.
