In light of the news that both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will face transfer bans over the next two transfer windows, Coral suggest three players that both clubs could move for this month in an attempt to strengthen for the next 18 months in La Liga.

Real Madrid

Paul Pogba

It is no secret that Real, 11/2 with Coral to win La Liga, want the Juventus dynamo. With compatriot Zinedine Zidane now installed as Los Blancos boss, their desire to sign the Frenchman is only going to strengthen and executives may attempt to broker a deal this month.

Eden Hazard

Tracked by Real for the past couple of months, the Belgian has been under-par for Chelsea this season and may favour a move away from Stamford Bridge. This could be a deal that may happen, if a suitable enough offer is made, though chairman Roman Abramovich may use this move to negotiate any deal for Gareth Bale, who has reportedly been unhappy at the Bernabeu this season.

Marco Reus

Long-linked with a move away from Real Madrid, the all-round attacker could be an ideal alternative for Karim Benzema in the centre forward role. With an eye for goal and also capable of assists, he could slot into an already very fluid attack.

Atletico Madrid

Ruben Neves

Porto’s highly-rated midfielder has been tracked by a number of clubs, though Atletico could well be the perfect destination for the 18-year-old to develop the rest of his career. La Liga would be a natural step up for a player who is blessed with technical ability.

Niklas Sule

Hoffenheim’s starlet has shown that he is a centre back for the future and at just 20 can develop into a prominent player. Long term he may be an option to replace Diego Godin at the back, and could be a good investment in the January transfer window.

Domenico Berardi

The Sassuolo talent could be a welcome addition to Atletico’s attack, forming what could prove to be a frightening frontline once they all click. Linked with a number of clubs, the 21-year-old could well jump at the chance to progress his career.
