With four of the six games in Round 2 televised on Sky this week Super League fans have never had it so good.
Leeds Rhinos return to Elland Road on Thursday for a much-anticipated meeting with Hull KR, which sees Danny McGuire lining up against the club where he spent a glorious sixteen years. A 28-6 home defeat to Wakefield in the opening round highlights the task facing McGuire and the Robins and they look set for another difficult night.
The Rhinos got off to the perfect start with a rare away success at Warrington thanks to tries from Jones-Buchanan and Hall and a marvellous defensive display. They head out to Australia after this game and can go there on a high with a comfortable win.
Stevie Ward, one of the stars of the Grand Final despite carrying an injured shoulder, could make his first-team comeback and loves a try or two, scoring eight times in the league last season. Back the forward to get over the whitewash on his return and Leeds to cover the handicap in front of a packed house.

Wakefield Trinity vs Salford Red Devils

Wakefield Trinity can make it two wins on the spin also. Trinity were just a point off a top-four finish in 2017 after a tremendous campaign and issued a statement of intent with a comfortable win over Rovers last week, winger Tom Johnstone the standout performer with a hat-trick on his return from injury.
Salford on the other hand endured a nightmare Round 1, shipping 40 points at home to Wigan despite taking an early lead. A trip to Belle Vue is a tough one and with Wakefield set to remain at full strength a home victory has to be the call.

Wigan Warriors vs Hull FC

The real conundrum for punters in Round 2 comes in the shape of this match, the first in Super League history to take place outside Europe. Both teams chalked up impressive victories in Round 1 and will be swapping the freezing UK weather for the heat of Wollongong, Australia, where temperatures are expected to be in the high-20s on Saturday and conditions will be more akin to those at Wembley when the teams met in the Challenge Cup Final in August.
Hull ran out the 18-14 victors then and the margins are likely to be tight again Down Under, but it could be Wigan that come out on top this time. They welcome back captain Sean O'Loughlin and Joe Burgess into what already looks a stellar squad and they should prove too good. Hull are unlikely to be disgraced though, and Wigan on the 1 to 12 winning margin at 15/8 looks the bet for Saturday morning.

Catalans Dragons vs St Helens

Catalans home games will be a permanent fixture on Sky Sports once more this season, but they weren't the force of old in Perpignan, or indeed most other places for that matter, last year, and another defeat beckons. They suffered a nightmare start to the new campaign on Sunday with a 40-12 loss to the pre-season Wooden Spoon-favourites Widnes, conceding 34 points without reply having gone in level at half time.
St Helens, meanwhile, showed just why they were the team attracting a lot of the ante-post money with a ruthless display against League Shield-holders Castleford on Merseyside, running in eight tries in a 46-6 demolition job. They can surely cover the -10 handicap if in the same mood.
