Reds v Brumbies – (Fri 8:00pm)All Australian affair for the second game on Friday evening between the Reds and Brumbies. The Reds come off a big defeat at the hands of the resurgent Rebels, whilst the Brumbies grinded out a tough win against the Sunwolves. From a betting point of view this game looks to be a tough proposition but having seen the Reds game last week the Wolf can’t see them improving too much in a 6 days to trouble a Brumbies side with potential.  Expect the Brumbies to tough out a low scoring affair and start the season 2-0.

Sunwolves v Rebels – (Sat 3:15pm)The Sunwolves put in a great performance last week, going down narrowly to the Brumbies at home. They look to have improved on 2017 and will upset teams this season. Unfortunately for the Sunwolves, the Rebels put in an impressive effort last week touching up the Reds and showed their intentions for 2018. Will Genia looks to have taken his game to a new level controlling the game brilliantly from scrumhalf and providing the Rebels with a great facilitator to both the backs and forwards. The Rebels will be out to make it 2/2 this week and the Wolf expects them to be far superior to the Sunwolves and stamp down their authority as a major player in the Australian Conference.

Sharks v Waratahs – (Sun 12:05am)The Sharks come of a bye last week, having gone down narrowly to the Lions in Week 1. The Waratahs start off their tour of South Africa after a tough win against the Stormers last week. The Sharks will be looking to impose their large forward pack onto the Waratahs which should mean they adopt a ‘tight’ style of play in what should be a gritty affair with lots of kicking. The Sharks have won 5 of 7 as home favourites and the Wolf expects them to scrape home in this one. The Waratahs will be willing and a tough opposition for the Sharks and the game is a close one to call.
