Trelleborg v Helsingborg
Tuesday August 29, 18:00
An unsatisfactory yet undamaging start to the week in Kaiserslautern last night, as our boys Braunschweig led for most of their Bundesliga 2 match at the Fritz Walter Stadion, but conceded an equaliser with ten minutes to go. Our stake is returned, and we carry on.
We're heading to one of this column's favourite destinations, which is Sweden. Perhaps I'm influenced by the weekend I once spent in Stockholm - I've never seen so many beautiful people in my life, and my suspicion is that they kept all the ugly people in cages under the city. And yes, before you ask, if I was a local, I'd have been in one of those cages too.
Anyway, to the business at hand, and a second-tier Superettan clash between Trelleborg and Helsingborg. Blackburn fans may remember a European tie against Trelleborg many moons ago, while Helsingborg were relegated last season under coach Henrik Larsson. Yes, that Henrik Larsson, who had been a club legend until HIF tumbled out of the top flight on his watch. He is no longer at the club.
I fancy goals here. Trelleborg have seen their ten home games feature a total of 37 goals, and an Over 2.5 Goals bet has paid out in their last seven league games.
Helsingborg have seen four of their last five away games in the league feature three goals or more, and 12 of their 20 league games this term has seen an Over 2.5 Goals bet land.
Recommended Bet
Back Over 2.5 Goals at 1.81
