Football Tips: Best bets this weekend from the Football...Only Bettor team

Listen to Football...Only Bettor as Kevin Hatchard, Mark O'Haire and Jake Osgathorpe recommend bets for this weekend in the Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A and more...

Premier League Outrights

Promoted teams

Jake: Two games in, there are worrying signs for West Brom 3.00 and Fulham 3.60. I'd be most concerned about West Brom who we're yet to see create many chances."

Mark: "With West Brom, I wonder where the goals are going to come from. With them and Fulham, it's hard to see where the positives are."

Kevin: "Leeds are 1.24 to be top promoted team. Is that printing money?"

Mark: I'm not sure it's printing money but it looks likely to land. Leeds are enjoyable to watch and I expect them to consolidate their position in the Premier League.

Top goalscorer

Kevin: Dominic Calvert-Lewin has four goals from two matches and is 16.00 to be the division's top goalscorer. Do we expect his scoring to continue?

Jake: "If Everton can continue creating chances he can be there or thereabouts in the Golden Boot race. I liked him preseason to score 15 goals and, with four already, am confident he'll break that mark. He could even break the 20 goal mark. My only concern would be if James Rodriguez gets injured."

Premier League This Weekend

Brighton v Man Utd - Saturday

Mark: "Brighton play adventurous football and fall down against the big teams. United won 3-1 here in June. There's an argument to say at 1.80 United are value but they were alarming against Palace last weekend. I like over 2.5 or Brighton +¾ goals on the Asian handicap. If I have to choose one bet it's over 2.5 goals at 1.87.

West Brom v Chelsea - Saturday

Kevin: I'd back Chelsea to win, over 2.5 goals and Timo Werner to score as a same game multiple.

Jake: "I've been disappointed with Chelsea so far. But I like Chelsea and over 2.5 goals."

Crystal Palace v Everton - Saturday

Jake: I've been really impressed with Palace so far. Everton look equally impressive but there's been a little overreaction to their wins. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't breach Palace. On the same game multiple I'd back Palace or the draw and throw in under 3.5 goals for around 2.04."

Burnley v Southampton - Saturday

Mark: "The rumour around Southampton is that Ralph Hasenhuttl is ready to walk away. I expect a bit of reaction from Saints here. But Burnley's injury problems give Saints a chance. Back both teams to score at 1.90 or just below."

Man City v Leicester - Sunday

Mark: "I was really impressed by City at Wolves on Monday. They were fantastic, playing with intensity and deserved the win. If they're anywhere near that level they will beat Leicester comfortably."

Liverpool v Arsenal - Monday

Jake: Liverpool are playing more like the team that started last season than the team that finished last season. The 1.50 about Liverpool is very fair and I'd be tempted to back it. I also like No at 2.28 in Both Teams to Score. If you put the two together you can get around 15/8 on the Sportsbook.

Mark: Arsenal look more organised and more harmonious. There's more bite about them too. But this is the litmus test of their progress under Arteta. As a punter you'd gobble up that 1.50 on Liverpool. I would back Yes in Both Teams to Score. I expect them to make a couple of opportunities. Liverpool to win and both teams to score.

Kevin: Sadio Mane 10/11 to score and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 17/10 to score is worth looking at.

Bundesliga

Augsburg v Borussia Dortmund

Kevin: "I'm backing over 3.5 goals @ 2.42 in Augsburg v Borussia Dortmund."

Mark: "On paper this Dortmund squad is better than Bayern's. If they can get it together, Dortmund 8.00 can challenge Bayern 1.17 for the title, especially if players leave Bayern."

Hoffenheim v Bayern

Kevin: "I fancy Bayern to win at Hoffenheim and both teams to score at 1.91. Bayern might not be at their best following their Super Cup match on Thursday."

Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1

Roma v Juventus

Jake: "Roma will cause Juventus more trouble than Sampdoria did last weekend. I expect an entertaining game. I would go same game multi - both teams to score and over 2.5 goals at 1.90."

Barcelona v Villareal

Mark : "The standout match in Spain this weekend. Unai Emery is getting to grips with an exciting Villareal squad. They have an opportunity to keep this match competitive. There are plenty of question marks about Barca - keeper Ter Stegen is out and Lionel Messi returned to training late. Back Villareal +1.75 1.89."

Nimes v Lens

Jake: "Lens look big at 2.78. They are an outside bet for me."
