The Giants are currently sitting in 10th, half a win outside the 8, and every match from here on in is vital if they want to return to September. They face a huge task against last year’s Premiers, who are in far better form than this time last year- though truth be told the 3 games they have lost this year have all been interstate. Will the Giants keep their Finals hopes alive or will the Tigers get their first win away from Victoria this year?</span></div> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-align: center;"></b></span><br /> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Form</span></strong></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><i style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">GWS </i><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">(WWWWL) – In a match that had huge implications for the Giants finals chances, they suffered a heartbreaking loss to an Eagles side missing Kennedy, Darling and LeCras in Perth last week. Despite missing their own two key forwards, versatile big man Adam Tomlinson stood up with 24 disposals, 7 marks and 3 goals, while the Ferrari purred along despite Josh Kelly being reasonably well held by Mark Hutchings. Getting Lids and Toby Greene back will be a huge boost, but it does look like the rest of the side has got a bit of confidence back regardless.</span></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><i style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Richmond </i><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">(WLWWW) – Hard to imagine it was just over a year ago when the Tigers had a complete brain fade and allowed the Giants to go the length of the field in the dying seconds to win their last meeting at Spotless a week after they let David Mundy secure a win after the siren at the ‘G! They are a completely different team, full of role players with good footy IQ- the exact opposite they used to be! They have comfortable accounted for the Cats, Swans and Crows over the last 3 rounds- all clubs that were expected to contend for the Premiership. Flags aren’t won in July, but they sure do look impressive. </span></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Stats That Matter</strong>– <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">Richmond have won 7 of their 9 meetings</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">The Giants are 2-5 ATS at Home this season</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">Dusty Martin averages 27 disposals and 114 Fantasy Points per game against the Giants</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">The Tigers love the last quarter; they have won 12 of 15 and have +202 more points than their opponents</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">Kane Lambert has been the leading disposal winner for the Tigers for 4 consecutive games</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">GWS are averaging 102 points per game in their last 5 matches</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">Josh Kelly is averaging 125 Fantasy Points per game over the past month</span></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Betting Data</span></strong></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">2018 Line: </span><i style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">GWS- </i><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">9-6; </span><i style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Richmond- </i><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">9-6</span></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">2018 Over-Under: </span><i style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">GWS- </i><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">3-12; </span><i style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Richmond- </i><span style="box-sizing: border-box;">8-7</span></span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">What To Expect</span></strong></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Wolf is looking forward to this game, and is expecting a cracking contest. The Giants just squeaked in under the line for Wolf followers last week, and they will be fired up to perform in front of their 1223 home fans at Spotless. While the 0-60 points market for the Suns has been a big fill-up for Wolf followers over the past 3 weeks, and while Wolfie is tipping it again, there isn’t the same amount of confidence given the Dons are prone to leaking a few points. Something Wolfie is very keen on, however, is for the Essendon backline to rack up a few disposals at good value. The Suns forward line is non-existent at the moment, and defenders have been doing well in the Player Prop markets against the Gold Coast. The Green Machine will welcome back Jordan Rapana, but have lost Brad Abbey, Shannon Boyd and Joseph Tapine for the clash against the Cowboys. Last week’s super sub, Blake Austin remains on the bench here. It’s a tough road trip for the Cowboys in what has been a difficult season, but they’ll be looking for revenge in Canberra after the Raiders defeated them by 18-8 in Townsville back in Round 8.</span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Recent Form</strong>Canberra are ninth on the ladder with a 7-9 record. There’s still a six-point gap from the Raiders in 9th place to the Warriors in 8th, so they simply can’t afford to slip up. Josh Hodgson holds the key here, while Blake Austin will be looking to provide plenty of spark off the bench like he did against the Bulldogs last week. The Cowboys have a strong record against the Raiders, so they can’t be written off completely, but the Raiders have more incentive and should win by a margin of 1-12 points.</span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">How It Shapes Up</strong>Canberra by 4</span></div> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"></strong></span><br /> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Recommended Bets<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Best: Canberra 1-12 ($3.10)</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Value: HT/NT Double – North Queensland/Canberra ($7.50)</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">First Tryscorer: Elliott Whitehead ($17)</span></span></strong></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikniSRsBlC6D7EPBxfxAbUcEFS5KauK8Xat9t5KwTn6-iUJ2uPDxmJQVc4zg3JFtM-Bf1NWoxc1Uw5aYoFewawfGDhHPW3Eqah90rbyGDJwWjqT0alOt_fkdc7n05VBCts9SjoW4uZT5w/s1600/http_%25252F%25252Fprod.static9.net.au%25252F_%25252Fmedia%25252F2018%25252F04%25252F28%25252F21%25252F57%25252FRaiders_280418_a_env.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="785" data-original-width="1396" height="358" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikniSRsBlC6D7EPBxfxAbUcEFS5KauK8Xat9t5KwTn6-iUJ2uPDxmJQVc4zg3JFtM-Bf1NWoxc1Uw5aYoFewawfGDhHPW3Eqah90rbyGDJwWjqT0alOt_fkdc7n05VBCts9SjoW4uZT5w/s640/http_%25252F%25252Fprod.static9.net.au%25252F_%25252Fmedia%25252F2018%25252F04%25252F28%25252F21%25252F57%25252FRaiders_280418_a_env.jpg" width="640" /></a><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;"><br /></span></span></strong></div> </div>

They have won 3 of their last 5 after and defeated the Bulldogs 32-28 after trailing by 14 with six minutes to play. The Raiders have conceded 20 or more in 6 of their last 7. Canberra rank fourth in scoring but 12th in defence. North Queensland are 14th on the ladder with a 4-12 record. They have lost their last three and 6 of their last 7. All those losses have been by eight points or fewer. The Cowboys rank 14th in scoring and ninth in defence.</span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Stats That Matter</strong>– Canberra are 6-10 ATS with a 9-7 over record.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– The Raiders have gone over in four straight.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– North Queensland are 7-9 ATS with an 11-5 under number.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– North Queensland have won 10 of the last 14 against the Raiders including 4 of the last 7 in Canberra.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– The Raiders defeated the Cowboys 18-8 when the teams met in Townsville in Round 8.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– Three of the last four matches have failed to top 38 points.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– The over is 26-12 when the Raiders are favoured by more than a try (10-8 over at night).<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– Canberra have covered just 5 of their last 16 home games and just 3 of their last 15 as a home favourite.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– The under is 14-9 in Canberra home night matches.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– The Raiders are 5-8 ATS at home after scoring 30 or more and also 5-8 ATS after conceding 28 or more.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– The Cowboys are 30-23 ATS on the road but just 3 of their last 9.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– As an interstate underdog of more than a try the Cowboys are 8-4 ATS.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– The Cowboys are 7-3 ATS on the road off three straight losses.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />– Over the last four seasons road underdogs of 4.5 or more off three straight losses are 32-23 ATS.</span></div> <div style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Final Thoughts</strong>The Raiders will consider themselves extremely fortunate to leave Belmore with the two competition points last week and won’t be throwing away their finals hopes with a loss over the struggling Cowboys. There’s still a six-point gap from the Raiders in 9th place to the Warriors in 8th, so they simply can’t afford to slip up. The Wolf has nothing but respect for the South African who has been rewarded for his remarkable work ethic over the last 24 months. What The Wolf does have is concern that he cannot back up after what was a mentally and physically draining win. He has a 3-6 record in Grand Slam matches following a 5 set win and has won only 3 of 11 matches against Isner. The America’s serve has been incredible throughout the tournament. He is averaging 32 aces per match and is winning 84% of points behind his first serve. This is a huge opportunity for Isner and The Wolf says he will take full advantage.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Best Bet: Isner WIN ($1.91)</span></strong></span></div> <div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Novak Djokovic v Rafael Nadal</b><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />It is one of the greatest rivalries in the history of tennis and they meet for the first time at Grand Slam level since 2015. Djokovic has a slight edge in the H2H (26-25) but that advantage is more significant if you take away their matches on clay. Djokovic leads 15-7 in matches on all other surfaces and looks to have found his groove again. He has generated more breaks of serve (31) than any other player and his defence is back to it’s best. In recent years, Rafa has been unable to hit through Djokovic and his tactic of targeting his opponents backhand does not work against Novak. Their last 7 meetings have been decided in straight sets with only 1 of their last 5 slam encounters going the full five sets. Novak and Unders.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Best Bet: Djokovic -1.5 ($1.91)</span></strong></span></div> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <span style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><img border="0" data-original-height="488" data-original-width="650" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU8az4yOjOtIv271XYkEvh1Reut40jtzjXxyLQ-nif9JKIA6OXEkhdO6ZW8e_FUuU-G-CqujQtqi9jYW8rYqTLnXtOfareVfOOAA-NcbObYBohDk1AFa6ewAoBvRE0SuQwNPyVEUySmWQ/s400/8.jpg" width="400" /></span></span></div> <div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #222222; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14.4px; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <br /></div>

She has been in devastating form and is the only woman to have won all 5 matches in straight sets. Her match against Kerber will be a real clash of styles. Ostapenko is ultra aggressive while Kerber is a classic counter-puncher that looks to turn defence into attack. The Wolf knows who he wants to be on. This match will be determined by the Latvian. If Ostapenko can be as consistent as she has been so far at SW19, she will win and win well!<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /><strong style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit; text-decoration-line: none;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Best Bet: Ostapenko +2.5 ($1.80)</span></strong></span></div> <div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: 0px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility;"> <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: inherit;">Julia Goerges v Serena Williams</b><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />Serena is just two wins away from winning her first Grand Slam as a mother.
