Bristol Rovers 2.42 v Shrewsbury Town 3.00, the draw3.20

The Gas are unbeaten in six and have moved up to 11th in the table. I've mentioned before how they can be a bit "all or nothing", and they have been a tricky side to assess this term. However they are in-form again, but do they warrant being the favourites here?
I played the Shrewsbury card last week and it's a similar scenario once again. Around 2/1 is too big, and it's a price I like as it brings into play the Draw No Bet.
Town done the business for us last weekend with a 0-1 victory at Portsmouth - and Kenny Jackett's side are extremely hard to beat at Fratton Park, so that was a fine result. Shrewsbury did what they have done all season on the coast - defend well and offer a goal threat. Indeed, they have conceded only 14 goals in their 15 away matches; shipping more than one goal on just one single occasion.
Salop boss Paul Hurst also has the unfamiliar scenario of no midweek fixture. Excellent news.
Rovers had their stickiest of sticky patches earlier in the season, and they are rattling up some home victories now with five from their last seven at the Memorial. They are scoring too; netting 13 in that run.
However, there are reasons to be against the hosts. They were opened-up by Doncaster on plenty of occasions last weekend in a game Darrell Clarke's side won 3-1. Donny however had plenty of chances, and better teams will take advantage of that.
If Wigan or Blackburn were the visitors this weekend in Bristol, they wouldn't be priced at 3.10, and Shrewsbury keep on churning out results.

Rotherham United 2.04 v AFC Wimbledon 3.70, the draw 3.50

Wimbledon will have their backers this weekend, and I cannot argue with the price of [3..70] for the Dons. However, Saturday's trip to Rotherham is a tough game - although both are in-form at the moment.
The Millers are doing more than enough to make them the bet material here, as they are now clicking into gear as genuine playoff contenders.
Rotherham are unbeaten in nine and were last seen picking up the maximum points in a fairly routine 2-0 victory against Bradford. The Bantams have lost the plot at the moment, and it really could have been five or six for the Millers. It was a perfect performance from Paul Warne's side who pressed and harried well. They look a team with plenty of energy at the moment.
Warne has added a few signings in the January transfer window, and striker Caolan Laverywill be a good fit from Sheffield United on loan.
Wimbledon also were recent winners against Bradford (4-0), to see Rotherham's victory and raise them. Neal Ardley's men have fashioned a decent run now at five unbeaten and have discovered their goalscoring touch again.
But when it comes to goals, you can rely on Rotherham. They have scored in 22 consecutive games and have hit 31 at the New York this term - which is the highest in League One, and the goal threat they carry should be enough here for a home success.

Fleetwood Town 2.54 v Scunthorpe United 2.40, the draw 3.40

This looks one of those games in which a case can be made for and against both teams. The smart way to play this is to bet on goals, as both are scoring and conceding. Although I still would like to keep the draw onside here.
On league positions, Scunthorpe should be favourites. After all they sit in fourth and have been in and about the playoff positions for quite some time. However, Graham Alexander's men are stuttering recently with just one victory in six - and that came against hapless Bury. The Lincolnshire club also sold striker Kevin van Veen to Northampton this week, in what was quite a surprising move. The Dutchman had hit six in his last 11 games - and attackers at that rate are not easy to come by at this level.
Scunny were beaten by a late goal last week against Southend, whilst Fleetwood suffered the same fate with a 2-1 loss against in-form Gillingham. The Kent side had done their homework and targeted new left-back Kevin O'Connor - who in the words of the local press was in a baptism of fire. Gillingham bombarded Fleetwood's left-hand side, knowing full well that their best player in that position (Amari'i Bell) had just been sold to Blackburn.
I've mentioned the goals, so let's state the case. Fleetwood have conceded 15 in their last nine matches with just one clean sheet. Scunthorpe have an identical record, and they also conceded two against a fairly poor MK Dons team. Both score, though. Uwe Rosler's team have netted in all but one of their last eight, with Scunthorpe hitting 16 in nine - scoring in every single one.
We should be looking at the Both Teams To Score angle here, but I will also have a small bet on the Draw outright.
