The Daily Acca: Attack to outshine defence at Fulham

The week begins with a 15/2 Daily Acca for Paul Robinson, and it kicks off at Craven Cottage. Here are his selections:

Goals to flow with Fulham involved

Bet 1: Back BTTS in Fulham v Aston Villa @ 8/11 - KO 17:45 BST

Fulham have found it tough back in the top flight, as they have lost both of their fixtures to date - conceding a total of seven goals.

On the plus side for Scott Parker, his team have beaten Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup, and they scored three goals in their 4-3 defeat at Leeds.

Aston Villa have played three and won three so far this year, and that follows on from their strong finish to the previous campaign - a run of form that ultimately saved them.

Dean Smith has invested heavily in Ollie Watkins, and while he didn't score in their victory over Sheffield United, he did find the net in both cup games.

Expect goals at both ends at Craven Cottage.

High-scoring affair at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara

Bet 2: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Bologna v Parma @ 3/4 - KO 19:45 BST

Serie A is one of the highest-scoring leagues in Europe, and I expect more goals when Bologna take on Parma.

The hosts were beaten 2-0 at AC Milan in their season-opener, and the visitors lost at home by the same scoreline to Napoli.

Obviously the concern is that neither team have found the net this term, but they both faced tough opponents, and based on last season's stats, Over 2.5 goals looks like a strong possibility.

A total of 24 of Bologna's 38 fixtures ended with three goals or more last year, with 22 of Parma's following suit. It's also worth noting that the two fixtures between this pair both finished 2-2.

Arsenal to be brought back down to earth

Bet 3: Back Liverpool to win to nil @ 15/8 - KO 20:00 BST

Liverpool had a much-needed shock against Leeds in their opener, before eventually running out 4-3 winners. It appeared to do them well, as the concentration levels were back at Stamford Bridge, enabling them to outclass Chelsea by a 0-2 scoreline.

I expect more of the same at Anfield against Arsenal on Monday night, in a replay of the Community Shield - a match which saw the Gunners win on penalties.

There is no doubt that Arsenal have improved - and continue to improve - under Mikel Arteta, but with the Reds seemingly back to their best, I quite like the 15/8 about a home win to nil.
