Bet 1: Back Watford to beat Stoke at [2.05]
Watford have been progressing steadily under Marco Silva's guidance and it is slightly surprising to see them odds against for this game.
As Mike Norman points out in his must-read Premier League preview, the Hornets have been in strong form at home and away and are up against a Stoke side that has won just one of their last eight matches in all competitions.
Watford have already put three past Liverpool and beaten Arsenal at Vicarage Road, and with attacking threats Troy Deeney, Richarlison and Abdoulaye Doucoure in such sparkling form, they will surely have too much firepower for Stoke to cope with. Back the home side to pick up another three point this weekend.
Bet 2: Back Wasps to beat Northampton at 2.40
Wasps brought a five-match losing streak to an end when they beat Harlequins in the Champions Cup on Sunday and they build on that win this weekend.
Saints have a good home record, and have only lost one Premiership game at Franklin's Gardens since November. But they've hit a bad spell of late and are on a run of three consecutive defeats, while Wasps have improved steadily in their last three outings, with their defence looking particularly resolute. The visitors have won their last four against Northampton and look good value to make it five on Saturday.
Bet 3: Back Los Angeles Dodgers to beat Houston Astros at 2.12
After a thrilling game on Wednesday in which Houston Astros salvaged a victory in the eleventh innings, the tied World Series moves to Texas for game three.
Houston will be full of confidence after their midweek heroics, and will be hoping that pitcher Lance McCullers will pick up where he left off against the Yankees, but he hasn't always been the most reliable performer this season. By contrast, the Dodgers will be turning to the experienced Yu Darvish, who has enjoyed plenty of success against the Astros when he was with the Texas Rangers. This is likely to be another close result, but Darvish can give the visitors the edge and a 2-1 lead.
