Andrew Hughes thinks Huddersfield look a good bet against an under-prepared Chelsea in his first weekend multiple of the Premier League season

Bet 1: Back Huddersfield to beat Chelsea at [6.5]

Many of Europe's top teams will be suffering a post-World Cup hangover as key players slowly return to fitness, but Chelsea have additional problems that could leave them vulnerable on the opening weekend.
New manager Maurizio Sarri has been attempting to instil a new style of play, largely without his big name stars, while dealing with the consequences of another turbulent transfer window. Based on their performance against Manchester City in the Community Shield, they are a long way from being ready.
And, as Alex Keble points out in his must-read Tactical Preview, Huddersfield will relish the chance to impose their Liverpool-style pressing game against big name opponents, and Chelsea will be given no time or space to build confidence in their new methods. The home win offers plenty of value here.

Bet 2: Back Trinbago Knight Riders to beat Jamaica Tallawahs at 1.54

These two teams have won four out of five editions of the Caribbean Premier League, and this early clash between the big guns should be an entertaining affair.
Both sides have plenty of firepower in their squads, but Trinbago look stronger, with a core of Caribbean stars made up of Dwayne and Daren Bravo and Dinesh Ramdin, backed up by one of the world's best Twenty20 batsmen Chris Lynn and the wily spin options of Sunil Narine and Fawad Ahmed.
The reigning champions were in dominant mood in their opening game, bowling out St Lucia for 95 and although Jamaica are sure to offer stiffer resistance, I'm backing Trinbago to make home advantage count here.

Bet 3: Back Penrith Panthers to beat Gold Coast Titans at 1.37

There's another hectic weekend of rugby league in store, and you can get all of the latest tips and previews courtesy of the dedicated Betting.Betfair page.
The surprise departure of Penrith Panthers coach Anthony Griffin has dominated the NRL headlines this week, but rather than unsettling the squad, it could serve to galvanise them going into the crucial phase of the season.
Griffin's old-school methods were not universally popular and although the Panthers have recorded back-to-back wins in the last two games, both were last-gasp victories in which defensive frailties nearly cost them. With a top four spot up for grabs, Penrith look a solid bet against a Gold Coast side with little to play for.
