Ajax need to beat Bayern Munich on home turf if they are to win Group E.

The Dutch giants can already be pleased with their Champions League campaign, having already secured qualification for the last-16. Ajax come into this match on the back of a 15-match unbeaten run (W13 D2), which includes a 1-1 draw in Munich in the reverse fixture.

Bayern simply need to avoid defeat to win the group and go through as one of the top seeds. Under normal circumstances you'd back them to do it, but this season they have been very inconsistent in the Bundesliga and their manager Niko Kovac has spent most of the season under pressure.

That said, Bayern are unbeaten in the Champions League (W4 D1). Their 5-1 victory over Benfica in the last round of games has sparked a period of consistency, with Bayern having won their last three matches.

Ajax can remain undefeated

Bayern's price to win is higher than it would be during a more stable period of the club's history, but it still gives the potential to back Ajax to avoid defeat.

The Germans may have put together a run of wins, but they still seem defensively fragile. Their clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Nurnberg on Saturday was their first in four games, during which they conceded eight goals.

Ajax are also unbeaten in the Champions League and there's no reason to think they shouldn't keep their run going. Back them in the Double Chance market at 1.87.
