Hosts too quick and sharp for struggling visitors

Lille vs Toulouse (2nd vs 15th)

Lille have played some of the most entertaining football in Ligue 1 this season and are in good shape to finish the year on a high. Their best attackers - £40 million-rated Nicolas Pepe, Jonathan Bamba and Jonathan Ikone - are available and will look to put the Toulouse defence under pressure from the start.
Lille are 13 places and 16 points above Toulouse in the standings, and the hosts also have tremendous home stats. Their record in front of their own fans is W6-D3-L0, making them clear favourites against limited visitors.
Toulouse have been in the bottom-half of the table since October and lost six of their last nine games in all competitions. Changes of personnel in defence have made them vulnerable in recent weeks and suggest they'll struggle to shut out the dangerous hosts.
Lille are odds-on (1.70) to win so we suggest backing them -0.5&-1.0 on the Asian Handicap so that we can be on the hosts are around evens. For a full guide to Asian Handicap betting, click here.

Value lies with underrated Caen

Reims vs Caen (8th vs 16th)

Reims are odds-on to win but it's hard to justify their 1.80 price when you look at their actual win rate. David Guion's side have won just six of their opening 18 Ligue 1 matches of the season and their home record is W4-D3-L2.
Reims are eight points above Caen in the league table but man for man there's actually little to pick between the pair. Caen are more difficult to beat on the road than their position in the league standings implies: their away record's a respectable W1-D4-L4.
Caen's have lost only twice by more than one goal this season and those defeats came against top sides PSG (0-3) and Marseille (0-2). The closeness of their other 16 matches shows they can give anyone a game, and makes them the smart selection this weekend. A lay of Reims at 1.82 or backing The Draw at 3.50 are both worth considering.

Khazri and Cabella key for les Verts

St Etienne vs Dijon (5th vs 17th)

St Etienne have the firepower to blow away a flaky Dijon side this weekend. The hosts welcome back Remy Cabella and Wahbi Khazri after one-match suspensions and will be much more dangerous with their best two attackers back in the side.
They have been excellent at home all season, as their W6-D2-L0 record demonstrates. They'll be able to count on tremendous support and have everything they play for as they'll want to stay ahead of Marseille and Nice, just one point behind them.
Dijon are without a win on the road since August (W0-D2-L4). The two teams they picked up draws against - Reims (0-0) and Monaco (2-2) - were both more limited than St Etienne. Dijon have conceded 11 goals in their last five Ligue 1 outings and their poor defensive record suggests they'll pick up nothing this weekend.
St Etienne are understandably short (1.55) to collect all three points. By backing St Etienne -1.0 Asian Handicap you'll get your stakes back if the hosts win by a single goal and make a profit at bigger odds if they win by two or more goals.

Bordeaux's rich vein of form set to continue

Bordeaux vs Amiens (12th vs 18th)

Live on Betfair Live Video
Bordeaux go into the weekend action in tremendous form and are a good bet to collect all three points against struggling visitors. The hosts are W4-D1-L0 from their last five games in all competitions so will be confident of claiming victory.
They've picked up four points from their last two home matches despite facing top-class opposition in the form of St Etienne (3-2) and PSG (2-2). Having done so well against high-calibre visitors they're well-equipped to win comfortably this weekend.
Amiens' form makes far more dismal reading: they're W1-D0-L4 from their last five matches in all competitions, with their sole win a slender victory against bottom club Guingamp (1-0). The long-term injury absence of last season's 13-goal top scorer Moussa Konate has robbed their attack of punch and presence, and makes a Bordeaux win all the more likely.
