Europa League Draw: Favourites United get Club Brugge in last 32
The Europa League draw for the round of 32 has pitted favourites Manchester United against Beligan opposition while Arsenal and Wolves play teams from Greece and Spain respectively, reports Max Liu...
Europa League favourites Manchester United will play Club Brugge in the round of 32 following today's draw. The Red Devils are 7.00 on the Betfair Exchange to emulate their victorious 2017 in the competition but they must not under-estimate their Belgian opponents.
Brugge, who currently lead the Belgian top flight by eight points, dropped into the competition from the Champions League in which they drew away to Real Madrid and narrowly lost in the French capital against Paris Saint Germain. So the unpredictable United will need to be at their best over the two legs.
Arsenal 9.20 are among the teams expected to challenge for this title and, if they're to reach a second consecutive final, they will have to defeat Olympiakos. With the ties not scheduled to be played until late February, Arsenal will probably be under a new manager - likely to be Mikel Arteta - by then.
Wolves' reward for reaching the knockout stage in their first season of Europa League football is a tie with Espanyol. Nuno Espirito Santo's team are 18.50 to go all the way.
Finally, Scotland's big two are both in the last-32. Celtic 50.00 have drawn FC Copenhagen while Steven Gerrard's Rangers [85.0] will play Braga of Portugal.
