Nations League Tips: France will repeat World Cup final result

France face Croatia in a repeat on the 2018 World Cup final and Dan Fitch is expecting a home win with goals from both teams, as he previews Tuesday's Nations League games.

Poor Estonia form will continue

Armenia 1.82 v Estonia 4.90; The Draw 3.40

Armenia's defeat to North Macedonia on Saturday was their fourth straight loss, but they have been in decent form over the last couple of years, pulling off victories over Greece and Bosnia-Herzegovina in Euro 2020 qualifying.

Estonia's loss at home to Georgia, extended their run without a win to eight matches (D1 L7). Armenia look good value at 1.82 to inflict another defeat.

Goals should flow

Georgia 2.46 v North Macedonia 3.50; The Draw 3.10

Georgia and North Macedonia look like the best two teams in Group C2 and have both got off to winning starts.

These sides are evenly matched and this one could go either way. Keep away from the results market and back both teams to score at 2.10 North Macedonia have only failed to score twice in their last 13 games and both of those instances came against Poland.

Belgium will win with ease

Belgium 1.20 v Iceland 21.00; The Draw 7.60
Kick off 19:45

An understrength Iceland side showed very little ambition at home to England and are likely to be even more conservative against Belgium.

The Belgians started their campaign with a 2-0 victory over Denmark in which they won both halves and you can back them to do so again at 2.30.

Neither side inspires confidence

Cyprus 2.30 v Azerbaijan 3.70; The Draw 3.10

Azerbaijan's defeat to Luxembourg on Saturday means that they have only won one of their last twelve games (D2 L9).

That form explain the short price for Cyprus, because it's not down to their own exploits. Their 2-0 loss to Montenegro means that they have failed to win any of their last five home games (D1 L4). This one could be more competitive than the odds suggest and both teams to score is 2.20.

Same result as World Cup final

France 1.57 v Croatia 7.00; The Draw 4.00

It's a repeat of the 2018 World Cup final, but while France have largely maintained their standards, Croatia have been in decline, which was demonstrated by their 4-1 thrashing by Portugal at the weekend.

One way that Croatia remain reliable is their ability to score, with the team having found the net in each of their last 14 games. A France win and both teams to score is 4.00.

Improved hosts can put up a fight

Luxembourg 4.40 v Montenegro 2.02; The Draw 3.40

This looks like another game in which the outsiders can get on the scoresheet, even if they lose.

Montenegro are likely to be the frontrunners in Group C1, but Luxembourg have improved a lot over the last couple of years and really benefitted from the inaugural Nations League. Back Montenegro to win and both teams to score at 4.20.

Another win for international giants

Sweden 4.90 v Portugal 1.86; The Draw 3.50

Portugal are the reigning European Championship and Nations League holders, and the frightening thing is, their squad is stronger now than it was when they won those honours.

Sweden are a capable team, but realistically their goal is to fight against relegation with Croatia. Back Portugal to win again at 1.86.
