Against All Odds: Arsenal's striking woes to continue

It's been a miserable campaign for the hosts thus far as they are 29th of 30 in the new-look Primera Division. One solitary win from 17 outings is simply an unacceptable return for a club of their stature and while Ricardo Caruso Lombardi's arrival as manager has seen a slight improvement in form, they have lost their last two games without scoring a goal.

Opponents, Argentinos Juniors, are higher up the table - in 17th to be precise - but things haven't been so great recently as it's been four defeats in a row in all competitions.

The common problem for both teams has been scoring goals and with just seven to their name this term, the hosts have the worst record in the entire league. They are averaging less than half a goal per game and it's quite remarkable that three of their seven came in one match - all the way back in March.

Néstor Gorosito's men have been more prolific - 14 netted so far this campaign - but they have dried up of late as it's just two in seven and a half hours of football. Four of their last five on the road would have seen this selection land and despite Arsenal's woes, I have no doubt that they would take a draw this evening.

I would like nothing better than to kick off the week with a winner and this is the best opportunityfrom the entire set of fixtures. I just can't see many goals at all, so with over 1.5 trading at around the 1.64 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
