Real Madrid coach Rafael Benitez has again insisted there is no rift between himself and superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Reports in Spain have suggested tensions between new coach Benitez and Portugal international Ronaldo have increased following a training-ground row over a disallowed goal.
The current World Player of the Year has started both friendlies in Australia, against Roma and Manchester City, and former Napoli and Inter Milan coach Benitez denied the pair had fallen out.
"My relationship with him is good," the Spaniard told reporters, ahead of his side's pre-season International Champions Cup friendly against his former club Internazionale in Guangzhou on Monday.
"When someone gets angry during a training session, but then does their job, there's no problem, it's fine."
Two-time Champions League winner Ronaldo has scored 225 goals in La Liga since moving to Santiago Bernabeu from Manchester United in 2009.
Benitez was joined at the pre-match press conference by defender Pepe, who said he hoped to sign a new deal to stay with the Spanish capital giants.
The Portugal international is yet to sign an extension to his contract, which expires in June 2016, but the former FC Porto star said he did not want to leave the La Liga powerhouses.
"I'm very happy at Madrid," Pepe told reporters.
"I've made it clear to the president and my agent is working on it so that I can remain here for a few more years.
"I hope the season to come will be a good one."
Real Madrid are currently priced 13/8 to win next season's La Liga and quoted 11/2 in the Champions League outright betting.
