This is a last 16 Coppa Italia tie and the hosts are the red-hot favourites to go through. 

Luciano Spalletti's side are chasing Juventus hard in Serie A while the visitors have gone five without a win. They were held to a draw by Empoli at the weekend and prior to that they were beaten by Napoli.

Roma on the other hand have won three on the bounce and two of those were on the road. They are back on home soil here and the fans are usually treated to plenty of goals at Stadio Olimpico.

There have been 14 competitive matches at home for Roma this season and all bar one have gone over 2.5. We need that extra goal tonight, but that shouldn't be hard to come by as nine of the 13 that went over 2.5 also went over 3.5.

Sampdoria may be struggling to pick up results but they've still netted in each of their last seven on their travels and that includes trips to Juventus, Napoli and Fiorentina.

I'm pretty keen on a goal-fest in this one, so with under 3.5 trading at around the 1.72 mark, I have to make it my lay of
