I'm thinking of hiring myself out as an exorcist, because last night I seem to have lifted Barcelona's Anoeta curse. I opposed the Catalan giants, and they duly won at Real Sociedad for the first time in a decade, as Neymar's penalty made the difference.

A tough week is developing, but we press on. We swap one side of the Pyrenees for the other, and take in a game from Ligue 2 in France. Troyes are on the road at Laval, and I fancy the visitors to grab a result.

Laval (the birthplace of Borussia Dortmund goal-getter Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, quiz fans) are the favourites for this one, despite the fact they have only won once in their nine league games at home this season. They are in the relegation playoff spot, having taken just three points from their last five outings. They haven't won any of their last six league matches at the Stade Francis Le Basser, and in fact their only home victory in the league was against rock-bottom Orleans.

So Troyes must be pretty awful to be trading at 3.20, right? Well, no, not really. Although they have lost three of their last four league games, two of those defeats were against sides in the top three. On the road in the league, they've lost just two games in the last six. They are 15 points better off than Laval in the standings, and they were playing top-flight football last season. It's also worth noting that Troyes won the reverse fixture 1-0.

I see little reason for Laval to be so short, so I'm backing the visitors Draw No Bet.
