ATP Sydney Feature Previews

Benoit Paire v Gilles MullerFrenchman Benoit Paire can be one of the most frustrating players to watch but when he is on he can mix it with the best of them. He blew Mayer off the court in the deciding set yesterday and has won his last two matches against Muller. Tiebreaks have been the theme when these two clash with a total of 4 breakers in their 3 meetings – all best of three set matches. Paire has trouble when players target his backhand but Muller regularly uses the slice which allows Paire enough time to run around and consistently dominate with his forehand. Paire is value as the outsider with the Overs the best play.
Best Bet: Over 22.5 games ($1.85)
Alex De Minaur v Feliciano LopezThe more The Wolf casts his eye on the play of De Minaur, the more he become a believer. The Aussie teenager has more than made a name for himself and this shapes as a great matchup for him. He has dealt with several big servers already in 2018 (Raonic and Johnson to name a few) and Lopez does not have the baseline game to blow De Minaur off the court. This one will won on the racquet of the Aussie and with the way he is playing the serve and volley game of Lopez will be exposed.
Best Bet: De Minaur WIN ($1.91)
ATP Auckland Feature Previews
Jiri Vesely v Peter GojowczykGojowczyk was at it again for the Wolfpack this time scoring a upset win over Jack Sock. We have been riding the German’s coattails over the last fortnight and it has been rewarding to say the least. The Wolf told us about his ability to break serve and he was at it again yesterday generating 4 breaks of serve and winning 50% of return points in what ended up as a routine straight sets win. It would be silly of us not to be on the German again!
Best Bet: Gojowczyk WIN ($1.73)
Karen Khachanov v Juan Martin Del PotroTo say Del Potro was impressive in his first match of the season is an understatement. He was flawless! He made over 70% of first serves, won close to 90% of points behind his second ball and went a perfect 3 from 3 on break point opportunities. The harder Shapovalov tried, the worse things went. Khachanov will not only have to serve well to be any chance, he will have to be able to put some sort of pressure on the Del Potro serve and The Wolf cannot see it happening. We cannot go off one match but Del Potro could be in for a massive 2018!
Best Bet: Del Poltro -3.5 ($1.85)
