Manchester City

Manchester City's quest for an unprecedented quadruple remains on course after the Citizens came from behind to beat Burnley in the FA Cup on Saturday. A John Stones mistake allowed the Clarets a surprise lead but Sergio Aguero scored twice in two second-half minutes before Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva confirmed City's progress in a 4-1 triumph.
The victory saw Pep Guardiola's group stretch their domestic unbeaten run to 26 gamesthis season and it's now 32 games and 260 days since the hosts were last beaten in the league or either domestic cup.
Although Guardiola fielded a weakened side versus Wolves in an earlier round, a strong Citizens XI is expected now the table-toppers have reached the final-four. With Gabriel Jesus injured, Aguero is City's only fit striker and will spearhead the home side's attack.

Bristol City

Bristol City overcame Manchester United 2-1 at Ashton Gate to set this tie up, their first major semi-final in 28 years but the Robins warmed up for the occasion with a thumping 3-0 reverse at Watford, their third successive defeat.
Lee Johnson made seven changes for the match at Vicarage Road, handing debuts to academy products Opi Edwards and Connor Lemonheigh-Evans but the visitors struggled to get going and spent most of the match defending in their own half.
The Robins showed few signs of the brave, attacking football that contributed to them stunning United in December but promotion-chasing City could be forgiven for focussing on Tuesday night's tussle and a more energetic performance should be anticipated at the Etihad here.

Match Odds

Even a growing injury list shouldn't prevent Manchester City's 1.15 progress and the odds-makers expect the Citizens to cruise to a comfortable first leg success.
Pep Guardiola's charges have been imperious at their Etihad home this term, only twice being denied victory in 16 outings across all competitions, and it's over a calendar year since the hosts last suffered a defeat here.
Considering Burnley were available at 23.00 to beat Man City at the Etihad on Saturday, the 20.00 available for Bristol City to upset the odds looks far too short. However, the Robins may fancy their chances of at least getting on the scoresheet.
Manchester City have shipped goals against the likes of Watford, Stoke, West Ham and Southampton here and five of their last seven triumphs at the Etihad arrived despite failing to record a clean sheet. A Citizens win and Both Teams To Score can be backed at 15/8.

Goals

Goals should be on the agenda. Pep's posse have plundered just over three goals per-game on average in their last 14 fixtures at the Etihad across all competitions with Over 3.5 Goalspaying-out in seven of those encounters.
Meanwhile, Bristol City have bagged 23 goals in 15 away days this term with Both Teams To Score banking in eight of their last 11 overall. With that in mind, backing Over 3.5 Goals at 5/6 holds plenty of appeal.
