The Daily Acca: Marseille to show their class

It's a 15/1 Daily Acca for Paul Robinson today, and the first leg comes from Easter Road. Here are his selections:

Hibernian to maintain their excellent start

Bet 1: Back Hibernian 29/20 - KO 16:30 BST

Hibs have been going great guns in the Scottish Premiership this season as they have taken 13 points from a possible 15, and they come into this game on the back of three clean sheets.

The visit of Aberdeen will arguably be their toughest test to date, but they beat them 3-0 here last season, and the Dons were in action in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Brest to lose again

Bet 2: Back Marseille @ 21/20 - KO 20:00 BST

Marseille kick-off their Ligue One campaign at Brest, and I am surprised that last year's runners-up aren't odds-on.

The hosts began their season last week, and it didn't go well as they were beaten 4-0 at Nimes. They are back on home soil tonight - a place where they won six of 14 last term, and lost just two, but it's questionable whether they will be able to repeat that now.

André Villas-Boas' men finished the previous season with six wins and two draws from eight away fixtures, and they should be able to pick up another three points here.

More misery for the champs

Bet 3: Back Santos @ 11/5 - KO 20:00 BST

Flamengo are the reigning champions of Brazil and the current holders of the Copa Libertadores, but those successes came under Jorge Jesus, and since he departed, they haven't looked the same.

Domènec Torrent has led the title winners to one win, two draws and two defeats from their opening five Serie A matches - and they have had the benefit of playing three of those at home.

Santos were narrowly beaten at Palmeiras when they were last in action, but prior to that they have beaten Sport Recife and Atletico PR, and last season's runners-up won 14 of their 19 home games last year - losing just once.
