Nantes v Marseille
Sat, 16:00 BST

Nantes looked ill-prepared for the season and that was borne out when they lost 3-0 at Lille last weekend.

Claudio Ranieri's Canaries were totally outplayed and can expect a relegation battle unless they significantly strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes.
Marseille made a much better start to the new season, beating Dijon 3-0 thanks to a magnificent second-half performance and two goals from substitute Clinton N'Jie.
Ex-Spurs striker N'Jie should start in place of injured Dimitri Payet this weekend. His form is one of several reasons why Marseille ought to claim victory.

The visitors are better than Nantes all over the pitch, making their odds-against price too good to overlook.

Amiens v Angers
Sat, 19:00 BST

Amiens are still trying to recover from the £5m sale of star striker Aboubakar Kamara to Fulham last week.

Without Kamara the newly promoted outfit may lack the punch in attack they need to survive in the top flight.

Amiens did better than many expected by losing just 2-0 at PSG last weekend, but the worry is they'll draw blanks against lesser teams as well unless they buy a new marksman.

Angers earned a 2-2 draw against Bordeaux last weekend and boast the strength in depth in attack Amiens can only dream of. Enzo Crivelli, Karl Toko Ekambi and Baptiste Guillaume would walk into the Amiens side, and between them should ensure Angers have the firepower to pick up at least a point on Saturday night.

Caen v St Etienne
Sat, 19:00 BST

New St Etienne manager Oscar Garcia got off to an ideal start in the job when he oversaw a 1-0 win over Nice last weekend.
The pressing football he's introduced was highly effective and the attitude of the players suggests ex-Barcelona 'B' coach Garcia has earned the respect of the squad. St Etienne have bought new players this week so travel to Caen bristling with competition.
Caen lost 1-0 at Montpellier last weekend and manager Patrice Garande is already under pressure. He will face a barracking from the Caen fans this weekend as many are unhappy he kept his job after the club finished 17th last season.
Caen are no stronger than last season and there was little in the way they played last weekend to suggest they can win on Saturday night.

Guingamp v PSG
Sun, 19:45 BST
Live on BT Sport 2

Will Neymar play? Whether he does or not this promises to be a hugely entertaining match watched by a global audience.

PSG will be determined to put on a show with the eyes of the world on them. They beat Amiens 2-0 last weekend but could have scored several times more. Expect them to be sharper in front of goal this weekend.

Guingamp were 3-1 winners at Metz last weekend. Encouraged by a sell-out crowd at Stade du Roudourou, they'll take the game to PSG rather than sitting back and playing for a draw.

With the hosts set to trade attacking blows with PSG, an open, exciting encounter is likely.
