Rafael Nadal v Grigor Dimitrov

The last time they met Nadal prevailed in a 5 hour epic and despite leading their H2H 8-1, Dimitrov has consistently tested the Spaniard. Just 2 of Nadal’s 8 wins have come in straight sets and in they have in facts split the last 10 sets contested – 5 sets a piece. Nadal has never posted a straight sets win over Dimitrov on this surface and the faster the court the better chance that the Bulgarian has. They are both in red hot form. Rafa is on a 10 match win streak while Dimitrov has won 9 of his last 10. In that stretch Dimitrov has actually beaten more quality opponents, a list that includes Del Potro, Kyrgios, Isner and Bautista-Agut. Dimitrov will again force a deciding set.

Best Bet: Over 21.5 games ($1.85)

Nick Kyrgios v Alexander Zverev

This shapes as the rivalry of the future – as long as Kyrgios stays in tennis that is. They have met 3 times this season already with Kyrgios claiming the fiirst two before Zverev exacted revenge in Montreal. All three encounters were at Masters Series level and on a similar surface to this one. They possess very similar games. A booming serve followed by heavy ground strokes and the aility to hit clean winners from every angle. Zverev has a significant edge from the backhand wing while currently Kyrgios is the more athletic of the two. There is no doubt who gets the tick in the temperament department and that is why The Wolf cannot look past Zverev. We have seen him squeeze out some very tough wins with his back to the wall and he has more big match experience thanks to a brilliant season. We are likely to see multiple breakers but if Zverev gets the upper hand look for him to go on with it.

Best Bet: Zverev WIN ($1.91)
