ATP Tennis Tips: Washington/Los Cabos/Kitzbuhel – 1st Round (Tue)

Rain played it’s part yesterday in Washington but not before Andy Murray made his way into the second round. Several matches were postponed including De Minaur’s clash with Vasek Posposil.

Jared Donaldson v Jordan ThompsonThe Wolf is shocked to see the price on offer for Donaldson and says he should be much shorter in the market. He torched Aussie Jordan Thomspson earlier this year in Brisbane 6-2 6-4 and Wolfy is not buying into a handful of matches that Thompson won last week on the Challenger Tour. On his home soil the American will produce his best tennis and that will see him post a very comfortable win.
Best Bet: Donaldson -2.5 ($1.85)

Vasek Posposil v Alex de MinaurAussie Alex de Minaur has been disappointing over the last month and has struggled to deal with big servers on fast surfaces. Karlovic got the better of him in Newport while Isner blew him off the court in Atlanta last week. Possposil may not serve as big as either man but he has a very similar game style and is more consistent from the baseline. It is a bad formula for De Minaur and after showing some faith in him, The Wolf is definitely off him this week. He is almost shocked that De Minaur is favourite!
Best Bet: Posposil +1.5 ($1.85)

ATP Los Cabos Tips

Gilles Muller v Quentin HalysAs is the case with almost every Muller match, the points will be short and there will be very few breaks of serve – if any. Their only prior encounter went the distance and 5 of the last 7 sets Muller has contested have been decided by a tiebreaker. There has been at least one breaker in his last 5 matches and with Halys having one in 5 of his last 6, the Overs looks the bet of the day!
Best Bet: Over 22.5 games ($1.80)
