Eight to like

Theo Walcott - £7.1m. Being a fantasy gaffer is a risk and reward business. Having splashed the cash to bring him to Goodison Park, I can't see Big Sam waiting too long to get the former Arsenal man into the side. West Brom at home for Everton on Saturday, which looks like a decent spot for him to start repaying the faith.
Theo Walcott is currently trading at 4.40 to score anytime in the Everton v West Brom match on the Exchange
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - £7.6m. I'm writing this at lunchtime on Thursday and he's still a Manchester United player, so please take that into consideration. If the deal is done by Midday on Friday to get him to Arsenal though, he goes straight back into my fantasy thinking. At the start of the season, the Armenian was superb. Give him some confidence to express himself and I fully expect the 28 year-old to recapture that form.
Heung-Min Son - £8.2m. These are his fantasy scores in the past four games, 14, 3, 9, 13. On Sunday Spurs travel to Southampton, who are at best ordinary at the back. How he's only been selected by 14.4% of teams I'll never know.
Callum Wilson - £5.8m. The Bournemouth striker has scored in three of his past four games. West Ham are not outstanding defensively and remember they tried to sign Wilson last season. Players always seem to do well against either their old teams or ones who tried to sign them. At £5.8m he is the best south of £6.0m striker about.

Manuel Lanzini - £6.8m. I've been all aboard the Marko Arnautovic bandwagon for about a month now but one of his teammates deserves some fantasy love as well. With injury issues up front, Manuel Lanzini found himself leading the line last week at Huddersfield, promptly grabbing two goals. For a mid-range midfielder price wise, you have to like the look of that.
Both Callum Wilson and Manuel Lanzini are currently trading at 6.00 to open the scoring in the West Ham v Bournemouth match on the Exchange
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - £5.8m. We all know how good Liverpool are going forward. The likes of Salah, Firmino, Mane and Coutinho have been fantasy staples all season. The last of that quartet has moved on and the question is who replaces him? The Ox gave a good indicator that he might be ahead of Adam Lallana last Sunday. If so, he's a bargain. With Swansea away on Monday, that scoreline could be anything.
Ilkay Gündogan - £5.3m. The problem here is knowing whether he'll start or not. When he's played, the German international has looked excellent for his basement price. Finding value among the Manchester City squad is tough but this guy might be the last player who is under-priced in fantasy.

Virgil van Dijk - £5.5m. Swansea away for his Premier League debut, you couldn't have scripted it better for a fantasy manager. He gives you a much better chance of clean sheets now he's swapped the red and white of Southampton for the straight red of Liverpool. Also the chances of him scoring three or four between now and the end of the season seem pretty good.

Two to avoid

Michy Batshuayi - £8.1m. With Alvaro Morata suspended, I know a few people will take a punt on the Belgian for a one-week rental, I'd advise against doing this. He may have scored against Norwich in the week but his all around performance was sub-standard. Don't fall into the trap.
If you think I'm wrong, Michy Batshuayi is currently trading at 2.38 to score anytime in the Brighton v Chelsea match on the Exchange
Sead Kolasinac - £5.9m. Despite starting just once in his past six games, he's still the 18th most selected defender in the game. C'mon people, dump him already and move on.

Captain's pick

Manchester City play Newcastle at home, Spurs travel to Southampton and Liverpool get on the road to face Swansea in the Monday Night Football. All three are extremely favourable match-ups. This should be a big scoring week and your pick as captain should come from one of these three.
