Lyon vie with Zenit for last-16 place

Two motivated teams should meet when Lyon take on RB Leipzig on Tuesday, in a match that can have major repercussions in Group G.
RB Leipzig are top of the group and already guaranteed a place in the last-16. They could finish second though, if they were to lose to Lyon. The French club need to better the result of Zenit St Petersburg who face a final away match at Benfica, to guarantee their spot in the knockout stages.
Lyon won the reverse fixture 2-0 in Leipzig, but are in erratic form. Their 4-0 win away at Nimes at the weekend ensured that they have now alternated between defeat and victory in each of their last six games.
RB Leipzig have been more reliable in recent weeks. Unbeaten in eight matches (W7 D1), after their 3-1 victory against Hoffenheim on Saturday, Leipzig are second in the Bundesliga, just a point behind the leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.

Expect early goals to come between attacking teams

Lyon have to attack and that will likely result in goals at both ends against a team as good as RB Leipzig. Leipzig have scored and conceded in each of their last five games, but Both Teams To Score looks a little slim at 1.55.
A little better is the 1.64 for over 2.5 goals, which has paid out in nine of Leipzig's last ten matches. Take a chance though on over 1.5 first-half goals landing at 2.52. With so much at stake for Lyon they will likely look to get off to a fast start and both teams have more impressive attacks than defences.
