Napoli v Genk: Out of form Italians are struggling to score

Goals are hard to come by for struggling Naploi and Dan Fitch is excited by the price of a low scoring match against Genk...

Under pressure Ancelotti needs a win

Napoli can book their place in the last-16 of the Champions League by beating Genk and they also stand a chance of winning Group E.
The Italians are second in the group with nine points, one behind the leaders Liverpool. With Liverpool facing a tough away match at Red Bull Salzburg - who can also qualify if they win - there is an opportunity for Napoli to leapfrog the Champions League holders should they fail to claim victory.
With Genk having nothing to play for, you would normally expect Napoli to win with some ease, but such is the poor form of Carlo Ancelotti's team that nothing can be guaranteed. Napoli are now without a win in nine matches across all competitions (D7 L2), having drawn 1-1 at Udinese at the weekend. Ancelotti is under severe pressure and any failure to beat Genk would surely result in him being sacked, with Gennaro Gattuso lined up as a replacement.
Genk's solitary point in this competition came when they drew their home match against Napoli. They are hardly in great form themselves though, with their 2-1 win at Cercle Brugge on Saturday ending a run of eight games without a victory (D3 L5).

Big odds for another low scoring game

Napoli are a very short price at 1.18 when you consider their poor form and the value probably lies in the draw at 8.60 if betting on the match result.
One opportunity that really stands out though is the 3.40 on offer for under 2.5 goals. These sides drew 0-0 when they last met and five of Napoli's last six games have seen less than three goals scored.
