Fourth meets third in Europa League shootout
A place in the Europa League is up for grabs when Olympiakos face Red Star Belgrade.
With neither side able to make the knockout stages of the Champions League, they must settle for a route into UEFA's second tier competition. It's currently Red Star that occupy the third spot in Group B with three points. Olympiakos are bottom with one point and therefore need a win to snatch the Europa League position away from Red Star.
Crvena Zvezda won the reverse fixture 3-1 in a match in which they were behind, before taking advantage of Olympiakos having a man sent off to launch a second-half comeback. They have lost all four of their other games in the group to Bayern Munich and Spurs, without scoring a goal.
Olympiakos gained their one point in a home 2-2 draw with Tottenham and they were 2-0 up against the Londoners in the recent away match, before ultimately losing 4-2. Domestically they are in good form, having not lost any of their 13 Super League 1 games this season (W9 D4).
Goals look an inevitability
Red Star have lost their last five away games in the Champions League group stages, but against much tougher opposition than Olympiakos represent. The price of 1.56 for a home win therefore looks a little ungenerous.
Better value is the 1.94 on offer for over 2.5 goals. That bet has landed in all five of Red Star's Champions League games and in four of the five involving Olympiakos. The hosts managed to score twice against both Spurs and Bayern Munich at home, while no team has conceded more goals in the group stage than the 19 let in by Crvena Zvezda.
